Our HAWOK cast iron sauce pans, with their excellent heat retention and ability to cook food evenly, are ideal for a variety of cooking techniques such as boiling, sautéing, braising, roasting, baking, broiling, and more. It is heat-safe even at high temperatures of up to 500°F. Our pan is coated all over with super-smooth enamel, which seals the cast iron to keep foods from sticking and crusting. The long handle provides balance and leverage and the support handle makes it easy to move around your kitchen. The wide stainless steel knob on its cast iron lid provides a secure grip and has a perfect seal fit. This avoids spillovers and locks in moisture and nutrition when cooking. The thick lid is formed by micro-pressing, so it is not easy to overflow the pot. The evenly distributed drip bumps on the lid accelerate the condensation of evaporated water vapor and drip it evenly into the food, continually basting the food throughout the cooking process. Review: Quality enamelware - This pot is beautifully enameled in the light green color. You can use it as a rice pot, sauce pan, veggie pot, for smaller soup recipes and so on. I steamed rice which came out perfectly, so I know the heat is uniform. Sometimes you leak steam with a loose top and the rice scorches or doesn't get done, but not with this pan. You could put this pot to many uses. Goes in the oven. Comes with a sleeve pot holder for the enameled handle, although using in on the stove the handle didn't heat up, but that would be very nice if you put it in the oven. Works beautifully in the dish washer. Looks beautiful on the shelf. Good price. I'm very pleased.

This pot is beautifully enameled in the light green color. You can use it as a rice pot, sauce pan, veggie pot, for smaller soup recipes and so on. I steamed rice which came out perfectly, so I know the heat is uniform. Sometimes you leak steam with a loose top and the rice scorches or doesn't get done, but not with this pan. You could put this pot to many uses. Goes in the oven. Comes with a sleeve pot holder for the enameled handle, although using in on the stove the handle didn't heat up, but that would be very nice if you put it in the oven. Works beautifully in the dish washer. Looks beautiful on the shelf. Good price. I'm very pleased.

This pot is great. The perfect size. It's very thick and heavy. Love the bright color. However, it came with a chip in the inside of the bottom portion. I'm opting not to return it though.
