The Koi set had plenty of diamonds ( drills) and the usual tools to complete it. have worked many diamond painting sets before and know great quality. This set was a little under for quality as the sticky surface was very thick and makes the drills almost float and move around. Also the sections to place the drills on the canvas has larger spaces than normal between placement and the drills do not snap into place. It was impossible to get the rows uniform. The Koi diamond painting turned out quite dramatic with the rich blues, oranges and reds. I think the areas with uneven drills will not be as noticed by the recipient as with me. After I finished I gave it a good coat of DecoArt Americana Triple Thick brush on gloss glaze. And I will mountit in a black shadow box as a gift. If you want a challenge pick this Koi diamond painting kit as it is the only one I could find on Amazon that had good looking Koi. I will try and add a photo when I have finished mounting it in the shadow box.

This is a super high quality set, comes with a squishy gripper to add to the pen which is super helpful. Really enjoyed doing this and seeing it come to life!

If you have the patience for something like this I would highly suggest it. Came with all pieces. It took me maybe a couple months to do on and off but I finally finished it and I'm super glad I did. I ended up getting myself another one I liked it so much. Time consuming but definitely worth the effort at the end.

This was my first diamond painting kit, I was intrigued by the concept. I was recently sick, so I thought this is the time to try this to pass the time. The end result was lovely, BUT in retrospect, this one was a bit ambitious for my first go at it. I have a competitive nature, so of course I had to finish it no matter what. If I had to do it again, I might choose more of an entry level one.

I purchased this for my mother for Christmas and she loves it. It’s her first diamond art kit and it was easy to use and is starting to look great!

The media could not be loaded.  Loved this! Recreated one my great grandmother sewed and it was lost. So I did this for my fathers birthday.Who ever packaged the item did an amazing job! I loved how each bead color had its own zip lock type bag. So u weren’t just cutting them open and having to put them in ur own or containers. So that was super helpful! Love the clear wrap on top on the picture. Not fan of the all white ones. I like to see where I’m going next.Only con I have is that some of the beading colors like black was the worst. Had several huge chunks, or beads that had plastic rounding on them, sharp edges, or random smaller sizes. That wasn’t great,Overall though, I did appreciate this.

I just finished this and it does not look like the picture. The fish in the bottom left corner is not on my print. Colors are not as bright. It doesn't look bad but the picture is NOT a fair representation of the final product. I have completed many diamond art projects and I know they are not going to look exactly like the pics on the computer but when it shows three fish you should get a print with three fish. I realize it is not the Mona Lisa, it is just for fun/relaxation but I do think the sellers could be more honest with the descriptions and pictures of what they are selling.Pros: I did have plenty of drills, the adhesion was good, and the symbols were easy to read. I enjoyed doing the project.
