They say it is for children, but the problem is the length of the sleeves. It is not made for children. They are adult length sleeves. The only difference between this and a typical thick/bulky adult sweatshirt, is that this has a wide bottom/waist. It is cut so that it flairs out at the waist rather than going either straight down or tapering inwards. The product image shows sleeves that fit the child - the problem is that the sleeves have elastic at the wrist and in the photo, the child has the elastic pushed up their arm to about the elbow or biscep. This is not comfortable for the child to wear like that. To make this for a child, the sleeves need to be cut by nearly half the length, otherwise, it's just a oversized adult sweatshirt made from thick blanket fabric. Deceptive advertising and I would not buy it again because there are cheaper adult sweatshirts that do the same thing and I'm not looking to dress my child in a floppy, gorilla sleeved adult sweatshirt.

This plush, fluffy jacket is HUGE and definitely intended for an adult body! And it's absolutely perfect for the nights when you want to sit around feeling cozy. Small puppies or kittens fit nicely in the pouch pocket but be sure to give them a clear airway. The pocket is large enough to hold your cell phone, peanut butter sandwich, bag of chips, and 4 bottles of your favorite adult beverage. I experienced no change in its fluff or loft after washing repeatedly and I even used the tumble dryer.

Our house can be cold and I've bought sweatshirts, socks and slippers on several occasions for the 6 year old granddaughter when she visits - she always she's then within the hour. Our sooner. This she put on when she opened it and didn't take it off even when leaving the next day!

Someone advised me to get this and that I would like it. They were right. It is extremely comfortable and soft. One of the fake snaps popped off even before I had put it on. However, the snap is fake and doesn't do anything. It is just for appearance purposes. I would definitely get another one if I had to.
