You can never go wrong with KMC chains
Initially purchased a “value priced” 11 speed chain from a manufacturer that I was not familiar with. The drivetrain just never shifted correctly. After installing the new KMC chain I haven’t had anymore issues. Definitely a 5 star purchase.

QUICK LINK
Chain works great, but the quick link was defective. Hole was to big, would not lock in. Had to use my old quick link. I had to buy new ones to have as spares.Larry

Into the recycle bin
According KMC, they only sell through authorized dealers. This chain failed spectacularly and NOT at the quick link. Cannot recommend this chain. 3 out of 3 failures is a pattern. Sent pictures to KMC of previous chains for verification. This one went straight in the trash.

package had clearly been opened, and was missing the connector link. very disappointed

Manufacturing quality might be slipping
Firstly, this chain has nearly doubled in price since this time last year which is weird, because the increase in price happened after the initial supply chain shock from the pandemic. Secondly, I have purchased this chain for my last few chain replacements, and have had no complaints until now. After maybe 150 miles one of the chain links snapped (not the master link) and left me stranded in the middle of a ride. I only use it for urban commuting/riding; no gravel or mountain biking which makes me think that it may have been a manufacturing issue. Hopefully no one else has the same experience as me, especially now as the price has doubled!

Low quality or fake?
Chain didn't last a single season. Link shredded! Buy at your own risk

There is no other chain
This chain is less expensive that Shimano and works just as well. Quick-link makes it very easy to install

Counterfeit?
I ordered the grey chain and it is more than likely that it is counterfeit KMC chain. The picture of the grey chain, and the other chains, show chamfered edges on the connecting link. All KMC chains I have used have this feature. The chain I received does not have the chamfering and information on the internet indicates it is a counterfeit.

Tolle Kette für den Einsatz an der 11-fach Gruppe
Diese Kette ist eine sehr schöne Alternative zur original Shimanokette. Ich fahre sie sowohl mit einer 11-fach GRX 600/800 als auch mit einer 11-fach Ultegra-Gruppe.Ich bin mit Verarbeitung und Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis sehr zufrieden. Die Ketten haben eine hohe Laufleistung und stehen der Qualität von Shimano oder SRAM in nichts nach.Die Ausführung in Silber/Schwarz ist auch eine schöne Alternative zu den immer grauen Ketten von Shimano.Der mitgelieferte Missing Link ist sehr praktisch, da man damit die Kette für eine gründliche Reinigung öffnen und im Anschluss wieder einfach schließen kann.
