Right Part, Tight Fit, Needed some Heat.
These worked perfectly on my ‘07 wrangler after I warmed them up in the oven at 180 degrees for about 10 minutes. Without heat, the part was too rigid to install. I could have used a heat gun but I wanted to make sure the temp didn’t get too high and affect the plastic.

Not pliable, the lip is too small
These can only be installed by pressing them in like a ball joint, then the lip is damaged and won't retain the cable end. In my frustration of working with 3 of them and extreme fears of frustration I finally went to the dealer and bought the OEM, which while still rigid was pliable enough to push in by hand, and was retained when I popped it back off.I imagine if they would have a slightly larger lip on the exterior they would last longer, but this was a poor product.

Must heat before installing. Destroyed one of them. 2011 Jeep wrangler unlimited
I installed on 2011 Jeep wrangler unlimited with difficulty. If you try to install this right out of the bag, it will NOT fit. I ended up destroying one because it would not fit. Then I remembered a feedback that had the same problem and they mentioned that it must be warmed up to make the plastic more flexible. They put it in the oven. I took a more simpler route and used wife's hair dryer. So if you have access to hair dryer or heat gun, apply heat for about a minute then install before it cools. It will become more flexible then harden when it cools.

Good replacement
Shredded the stock bushing on a 08 Wrangler on a trip, used for top side handle linkage, you can get it in without removing the center console but it is way easier to remove it. Just 4 bolts and a matter of pulling up. Once popped in the transfer case shifter is solid.
