Had just bought an almost identical pair from a well known retailer (a perspiring lady called Elizabeth might be a clue!), and then saw these and thought they'd be worth a punt. Well, I put them side by side. The more expensive ones are thicker - this is not actually a good thing in my book - but, other than that, they're the same - but these are less than half the price. Squat proof, and I just did a ten mile run in them with no issues. My iPhone 12 fit nicely (complete with cover on it), and didn't do that thing of pulling the shorts down. The legs stayed where they were, the waistband didn't roll. A good length too - not too short, not too long. I'm an 8 and bought an 8 - I'd say they are absolutely true to size.Elizabeth's shorts are going back to her for a refund - enough said!

Love the colours. Comfortable, good tummy control on the waist band, don’t roll up while im training or dig in on any areas. These are maybe around 70% squat proof at the bottom of a squat (at full stretch) so if your squatting beware what underwear you are wearing lol but all in all a good fit and functions well.

Great fit. I did order a 14, normally a 12/14. They pull my tummy in and look and feel great. I play a 2 hour badminton session and thetes no adjustment required in that time. (No pulling up etc) the navy colour is a refreshing change to black. Washes well too. Yes I would recommend.

I love everything about these shorts except the fact that they do ride up when I'm running. I got size 12 and I admit I have bigger thighs (60 cm in circumference) I wonder whether perhaps I should have ordered a bigger size?

Comfortable and flexible fabric. I will buy another ones.
