I am currently on a Virginia Woolf literary and biographical voyage of rediscovery, and can not seem to get enough of reading and learning about her extraordinary life circumstances and history, as well as her complex relationships, and of course the whole Bloomsbury Milieu. Ran across this book in relation to other book titles I was browsing, and since I just rewatched the movie 'Carrington', and in reading Hermione Lee's massively interesting and entertaining biography of Virginia's life, have learned so many tantalizing things about her sister Vanessa, thought that this book would be a wonderful supplementary companion piece in discovering more about the lives of the people in Virginia Woolf's life and orbit. I have only skimmed it to date, since I am still in the process of finishing up Hermione Lee's biography, but it promises to be very thought provoking and a way to fill in some knowledge gaps of some very interesting people in their own right.
