Best gel bit!
As a professional nail tech, this is my go-to take down bit for gel polish! Aggressive enough to take the polish off, but gentle enough so as to not damage the natural nail. Everyone uses one at work now!

Cuts an hour off removal time!
Not scary to use, grinds through acrylic nails with ease. Finish up with a fine barrel bit and nails are clean without acetone!

Top notch nail drill bit. Good medium grade grit.
Carbide metal drill bit, with 'tornado' shape, is a winner. The 3/32 shank fits perfectly into our nail drill. I got this because the significant other has a variety of drill bits for her nail drill supplies. I use a nail drill to work on my 3D printed models, which are composed of PLA. The nail drill works at the speed and space necessary for my needs. I asked her what would work well with my stuff. She examined a few of the models and said any of the drill bits would probably work. Use the carbide drill bit for 'rough' sanding, to coarse removal. I've used some of the other nail drill bits (mine, i don't dare use her collection of assorted drill bits, haha), with great success. So, I got this to add to my arsenal of crafts' tools.I did a test trial, on some spare excess remnants of printed PLA, and this drill bit worked great. PLA is probably not as hard as cured polygel, so the drill bit had no trouble. I ran the drill at 15k, and it was easy to control and maneuver. A great acquisition. I'm sure it is equally adept at nail polish removal tasks as it is dealing with my crafts projects. The included brush is an excellent complement to the drill bit. It nicely cleans up residue from the drill bit's work. Both appear to have quality materials and manufacture. Attached are photos to show real world images of the product. A close up of the two drill bit heads are shown for closer scrutiny.Based on observations and impressions, this carbide nail drill bit and brush bit earn a 4.75 - 5 star rating, with a very high level recommendation.

shank size might be off, strong, nice shape, no burrs or hung pieces of metal
I am a diy soak off gel and dip momma to 5 girls. We do a lot of manis.I have a professional drill and a smaller travel drill. This bit works well in both but seems to be more secure in my professional drill which has the ability to adjust the size of bit you can use. That tells me that perhaps the shank size is slightly off as other bits don't have this issue.I normally prefer ceramic bits but have quite a few metal ones. This is a medium and not as strong as others, but you definitely don't want to use it on bare skin. It does a good job of taking off the first layer of two of gel or dip. I tend to soak off the remainder of the product. The shape is nice for that and shaping your sidewalls. This didn't get hotter than other bits I've used (sometimes the ceramic ones do) and seems to have held it's ability to file after quite a few uses.
