Collins Easy Learning German – Easy Learning German Grammar

I'm using this book in my german class. It's a great resource. Very well organized. Several people in my class have expressed interest in getting the book.

I've used the Collins books for Irish and this is just as good

I've only just downloaded this but it's exactly what I'm looking for - a clear but detailed explanation of how German grammar works. The book explains what each part of the language is and how to use it, i.e., nouns, verbs, imperfect tense etc. This book explains all the stuff Duolingo doesn't! It's also well designed / laid out in different coloured fonts and shaded boxes.However, what I didn't know before buying on Kindle is that it's not a true eBook. For instance, you can't increase the font to make it easier to read. You can use pinch to zoom in but you must zoom out again or scroll awkwardly to see the rest of the page. Unlike other eBooks you also can't flip forward and back while keeping your place, and there are no hyperlinked page numbers or references. As noted above, it's really like reading a PDF on a screen, which is why I'm docking 2 and a half stars. The listing should make this clearer.

Great book.I recommend learning the german basics before getting this since certain parts are a little complicated if you aren’t familiar with German. I bought this having learned German in school and it was a good way to refresh my memory. Arrived fast and in great condition.

Just started using it and it's good so far. I am attending German lessons, but the modern method of teaching languages just isn't good enough to give one a good basis to build on, so this book is essential.

Great for beginners

Handy little dictionary full of useful phrases and both English and German translations. Great for price.
