Looking forward to this book and reading it I need to order a replacement as you can see the book arrived damaged. If this happens again I will just try to buy somewhere else as this is a brilliant book and I love Alan Watts. So far this is the first and only problem I have received from ordering on Amazon my other orders have been successful.

About 50 years ago I avidly read virtually his every book. This latest repeat made me realise why, he can convey the most difficult ideas in his field of Eastern 'spiritual' practice with deep insight into Western religions. If you are interested in these areas and their more modern interpretations like mindfulness from its Buddhist roots and the fading fashion of Zen you will be amply rewarded by reading this collection of essays.
