It's a challenge
Not gonna lie... When I opened the box and sorted out all the pieces and then looked at how the instructions are detailed out....I was about to throw in the towel. The extent of my wood model building had been limited to Ugears and this is definitely more advanced than that (this is more in line with a traditional glue it together dollhouse build rather than snap together). My only criticism is with the instructions that came along. It took a bit of trial and error to find the right pieces (no numbering or labeling) and then try and figure out what the diagram is trying to have me do (it's all pictures). You need to really pay attention to the pieces and they have you building in some layers and support with what seems like "random" pieces. Another person mentioned painting before assembly and I would tend to agree if you are looking to do a detailed/crisp paint job and I thought about it but to really do so successfully would have been to plan out all 37 pages of the build to identify the key pieces. In the end it turned out ok... Or at least good enough for me to hang outside for the neighbors to see.

Not all the pieces fit together how they showed
This is very cute but I’m also very sad I spent hours on painting all the pieces just to come to find out that most of them don’t fit together properlyI’m crafty so I’ve made it work but if you’re not it may be difficult for you to put together
