Ventilator Modes Made Easy: An easy reference for RRT's, RN's and Medical Residents Paperback – December 7, 2014

I just barely started reading this book and it has made things so much clearer to me. It will be a good quick resource for when I need refreshing.

This is a good overview book on the various types of mechanical ventilator modes. Tells the critical elements of each, explains well how they differ from basic CMV. Won't go into advanced detail, but for an RT student who might be struggling to understand the modes, a Nurse who wants to understand them better, or someone working in a rural area or someone who has been out of the field a while and returning, is a good overview of ventilator modes you might not be familiar with. Well written, easy to understand.

The book is very easy to read and gives you the basics of the modes, but its over priced for what your getting. Honestly, it should the book should be $10 at the most.

Good short and sweet for ICU nurses, Ill be lending it around to my orientees for awhile!

Easy basic book about ventilator

It lacked detail. It is a good starting point for an introduction to ventilator modes, but I found online simulations to be far more interesting, with feedback.

Very good book, easy to read and understand. I am new to the ICU and this helped.

I am a respiratory therapy student and this book definitely helped me in understanding vents.
