Have been using these for years as a machinist, I get a lot of metal splinters and these do the trick.

This product is something that you hope you never need but very nice to have in case you do. I ordered this a while back and I finally needed it. I’m glad I had it in hand. I had a tiny, tiny metal sliver about only 1-2mm long. The sliver went into my fingertip mostly straight up and down, rather than sideways. This device is individually packaged and sterile. This device worked wonderfully, and with a little work, I was ably to pry that tiny metal sliver right up and out. I highly recommend this device.

I've been using these since I was a kid. Now I can use them on my kids when they get a splinter. They get the job done with little to no pain, sterile, safe, cheap, and you can take them anywhere! Must have in my opinion
