ego Power Head - Battery and Charger not Included

Unfortunately this was fairly loud. Return process was smooth and easy. Good seller.

I now have the blower and the edger. Both work extremely well and battery power is good. Hope the life of the battery is also good. I can edge, cut (gas) and blow my yard and plenty of battery power left. Will probably buy string trimmer next.

What can I say it’s an Ego tool it’s great

I have bought into the Ego ecosystem as I already have a lawnmower, hedge trimmer, batteries and charger. I needed a pole saw for some tree pruning, so it was a no-brainer to get the multi-tool power head. It works great with the 2.5a battery, it's not too heavy to move around. The runtime with the small battery is good enough for me as I need a break after 30 minutes of cutting and moving the ladder around. The power head has two different speeds and a safety latch so it won't turn on if the trigger alone is pressed by accident. There are other several other attachments available from Ego, including a long hedge trimmer and a cultivator, so it is quite versatile. Only possible downside is you have a single point of failure with the powerhead (meaning all your attachments won't work if it breaks). It should be fairly robust as it has a brushless electric motor, I suppose time will tell.
