Best Floor Jack
In 30 years this is the best low profile jack ever. Yet it still won’t fit under the front of a new Honda Fit.

Best floor jack to buy but not through Amazon
A few things about this Floor Jack. It’s heavy built to last. Its made in the same factory as Snap-on 1300 dollar floor jack is made only difference one says Snap on and the other says Daytona. One other thing buy it directly from Harbor Freight because it’s made for harbor freight exclusively and it’s backed by a 3 year warranty through harbor freight. This seller has bought the Jack from Harbor Freight and is reselling it so you’ll have no factory warranty.

Buy this jack for $200 @ your local Harbor Freight!
First things first: you should buy this jack at Harbor Freight, where it costs $199.99 and has a 3-year warranty. This is an excellent jack, especially for the aforementioned price. The features and quality of this jack have been compared to those of $500 Snap-On floor jacks of similar size. The steel is thick and the welds are neat, smooth, and generous. They are all along the metal-to-metal interfaces, not just at the corners. The lowering action is quite smooth, allowing you lower a heavy load gently when necessary. The bright yellow powder coat is thick, smooth, and seems to be of high quality. The range of 3.75" to 23" is really something. This jack will slip under virtually any production vehicle and lift it as high as most 2-ton jack stands will go - all in one movement. The pump also lifts very quickly when under no load, so it quickly closes the space between the ground and your lift points. The handle has a nice soft rubberized foam sleeve to protect your bumper/body from scratches. Also, the handle comes in two parts that snap securely together, so you don't have to use the full length handle if space is tight. The lift surface is 5" by 5", rotates freely, and is nicely padded. There are grease injection ports all over this jack (on the handle, lift arm, front wheels, etc.). It rolls quite nicely, and is easy to move into position. The jack comes with a 3-year warranty, which will be very easy to fulfill at any Harbor Freight location (assuming you take my advice and buy it there).Caveat emptor: this jack is quite heavy. At a bit over 100 pounds, this thing weighs as much as your typical 5th grader, but is far more useful. Its weight is comparable to other steel jacks of this style and capacity. Also, it is quite yellow. I was initially slightly put off by this, but the jack is so great that now I would hardly care if it was purple with pink polka dots. All in all, I am very pleased with this jack. Longevity is something that I cannot yet speak for, but I am confident from my past experiences that any issues I have in the next three years will be taken care of no-questions-asked by Harbor Freight's customer service. Therefore, I feel that I can safely recommend this jack to anyone who needs a very solid jack and doesn't mind the weight.Note: As of October 2016, the tool manufacturer Snap-on is attempting to sue Harbor Freight on the claim that this Daytona 3-ton jack bears too much resemblance to the Snap-on FJ-300 model (they're quite similar). I do not know how this will play out, but if Snap-on wins, it could make it difficult to get a warranty claim fulfilled through HF if the jack is discontinued.Update (February 2018) The jack is holding up very well to moderate use. It even survived an incident where a certain individual didn't realize the transmission was in gear and dropped the clutch knocking the car off its jack stands while the jack was partially supporting it - pretty tough! It does not lose height, even if it is left loaded for hours at a time. The unit is still sold at Harbor Freight, so the lawsuit with Snap-on might have been resolved favorably. The powder coating is holding up very well, and it’s fully intact everywhere except the contact portion of the wheels and some scratches on the lifting platform. As of today, I would purchase this jack again.

You cannot go wrong with this Jack.
I have had this Jack for around four years now. I bought it for $99. I see it’s not well over $200 and understandably so. The shack is the best Jack I have ever used. It’s fast up Beecher is great. It’s around 100 pounds so it’s not light but it’s not as heavy as the commercial brands. I would highly recommend this jack to anybody. I wish it was still 99 bucks, because I’d buy another one.
