The Low Light Fight -Shooting, Tactics, Combatives: How to win in a low-light environment.

Overpriced primer on low light tactics and techniques
I own several books by Mike Seeklander, and I like them all - except for this one. There are theree main faults with this book:1. It is overprized: There are only 88 pages in the book, but 15% of those, or 13 pages are totally blank, leaving only 75 pages with text - any text - on them. And on many of those pages, there is not much content, either, and the layout is quite loose overall, so the actual amount of content is even less than 75 pages. I would expect to get much more for the prize.2. The quality of contents is very basic and does not get deep in any of the subjects the book handles. I am even tempted to say the book barely scratches the surface on many topics. On top of that, the text is somewhat repetitive.3. The proofreading and editing of the book are downright terrible. In addition to numerous typos, on several instances there are sentences that don't make any sense; as if Seeklander was writing the text and his thoughts had began to wander, so two sentences kind of merged together. That happens to everyone I suppose, but the proofreading is just to spot these kind of mistakes. At the end of the book, there are some excercises (4 dry fire and 6 live fire). One live fire excercise is accidentally placed on the same subchapter with dry fire excercises, and one live fire excercise is printed two times word for word, although the title of the excercise is different. And so on.Besides these shortcomings, the book is OK (but not great). Seeklander has some point in his teachings, but in my opinion he fails to make a strong case for his thesis. They are presented as the best way of doing things, but to me they appear more like opinions based on personal preference rather than based on unarguable facts. There are 10 training excercises in the book, (4 dry fire and 6 live fire, as previously mentioned), but really there are only 6 exercises, as all of the dry fire excercises are presented as live fire excercises, as well.At the end of the book, there is a short bonus chapter on defensive rifle, and I think it is the best chapter in the whole book. Sadly, it's only 6 pages.

Five Stars
Good information in it as long as you have a foundation for context. A pretty easy and quick read.

Not a bad book
Good book that shows a way and not the way. This book is easy to follow. My only gripe is the poor black and white photos.

Excellent book that has been well produced through extensive research
Excellent book that has been well produced through extensive research. The only thing I would like to see is for the book to be released on kindle, maybe with colour photos.
