I bought it for a Golden Retriever puppy. We currently live in Mexico and it works great! The pin is lightweight and it easily holds to the puppy’s collar.It is very easily accessed through the PetKit app on any cellphone and the data portrayed seems to be about right. The only downside could be that two people can’t log into the app at the same time, but that’s just about it. Battery life is shown and light/heavy sleep as well.It let’s you compare your pet’s current activity to past days/weeks/months. And it gives a suggestion of number of servings/calories your pet should be taking. It does NOT have any gps tracking or location. So don’t buy this product if you want to track a pets location.We are very happy with the product. =)

Item came with a dead battery. Clearly states will monitor sleep and activity AND EMOTION - MOOD.This is why I bought this. We had one before which worked well. but the top of the round piece fell off the dog during a walk. Company said they had no replacement parts , yet they are selling them.This is so upsetting. I tried to return but I was late due to illness. Company would not honor.They send me directions that have NOTHING to do with this particular Pet Kit monitor. Rip OFF

The first one I had worked for a few months great! I love the app and have other products from petkit but this one is terrible! This is my second device since I had to get a replacement because it stops working after a few months of use. I tried to contact the company and I get no response. At this point I wish I never bought it.

I purchased two units for our active dogs. Only one of the trackers worked, but Amazon was quick to send a second tracker to replace the first faulty unit. The tracker is a decent size (not overwhelmingly large) and the app itself is easy enough to use. It doesn't track mileage/steps, but instead monitors your dog's "activity levels". It's easy enough to find friends on the app and to post on your profile. I think it's a pretty poor success rate (only 2/3 trackers worked), but I appreciate how quickly it was replaced.

While it doesn't have all the bells and whistles of other products, it gets the job done at a reasonable price. My girl's been wearing it for going on a year now and the only maintenance has been changing the battery (easy to buy locally). I did end up switching her to a wider collar - she's only 9.5# and was rocking a fairly narrow one - which has done a much better job of keeping the tracker in place. The app has a few quirks, such as calling a spayed pup a "sterilized lady." Good news is these don't affect the how the tracker itself works.

No problem connecting to my iPhone X.

The device powers up just fine, but does not connect to my phone nor my wife's. We have downloaded the app, uninstalled/reinstalled as well as removing the battery. The power light blinks as expected, but does not connect via the application.*Note, the device is visible as a Bluetooth device, and connecting to it that way does nothing.Despite the website's statement of "Our team will reply to your inquiry and problem within 24 hours." I have received no communication going on 6 days.I am happy to change my review if support can resolve the problem, but will be returning the item later today if no response.

Esperaba que funcionara de manera automática y remota. Tengo que actualizar/sincronizar cada vez que quiero ver la información de la actividad de mis perros y tengo que estar a escasos metros de ellos ya que funciona por bluetooth lo que lo hace impractico para monitorearlos estando de viaje. Si estoy en casa con ellos puedo ver que tanta actividad o no realizan, no necesito un equipo para ello.
