Parker IM Rollerball Pen, Dark Espresso with Fine Point Black Ink Refill (1975543)

The smoothest skip-free pen I have ever written with. This writes a lot like a fountain pen without the usual fountain pen hassles. And the finish is very beautiful with the gold over the stainless steel. My only complaint is that if you do not use it for several days the tip dries over and it takes a little time on scrap paper to get it rolling again.

I bought one and loved it! My wife tried it and had to have one so I got her this one and we both love them! Fantastic pen! Good weight but not to heavy, comfortable and clean. Worth the $ for sure!

This is a great pen at a very good price. I have purchased several of them. You get the feel of a fountain pen with the convenience of a ball point.

True to the Parker name, these are some really nice rollerball pens. I like them so well that I actually bought four of them - two medium point and two fine point, as I use both for different tasks.The craftsmanship is quality, the pen has a really nice weight and feel to it, and the ink flows smoothly. The fine point has a bit more "scratch" to the flow than the medium point, but those of you that have experience with both know that this "scratch" is actually very common and has nothing to do with the quality of the pen itself.The ink is a nice, dark black and doesn't look washed-out like some rollerball inks do. It also dries really quickly which helps eliminate smearing, although I don't know how well these would work for lefties. One thing I would change on these pens is when you have the cap placed on the non-writing end, it has a tendency to get a little TOO "stuck" and takes a bit of twisting to get it back off to recap it. This tends to lead to putting pressure on the clip, which isn't the strongest in the world - I've actually had to bend the clip back to its correct position simply as a result of removing the cap from the non-writing end.The painted, lacquered finish seems to be holding up well, too. While I wouldn't put it in a pocket with a bunch of other items that could potentially scratch it, I expect it to hold up well being put into and removed from loops over and over again.The OEM refills for these pens are a little on the pricey side, but that's the price you pay for quality. I have zero regrets getting these pens or their OEM refills, and if I ever have a need to replace one of the pens, I wouldn't hesitate to replace with the exact same thing.*If you find this review helpful, please indicate as such, as I'm aspiring to become an Amazon Vine Reviewer. Got into better pens a year ago with the Parker Jotter which is an elegant pen that I enjoy using. The IM Rollerball is an upgrade which has more weight, very solidly built, and the ink flow is thicker. My penmanship is improved because I'm writing more slowly and deliberately. Parker Pens are a great addition to my EDC.

I love writing with this pen. I can't compare it to other high end pens, but writing with this is comfortable and special. The only negative is that it can tend to bleed rather quickly so you shouldn't dawdle while writing.

I love the pen casing but the ink cartridge leaked and the metal piece at the end broke off and the tip was floppy and unable to use to write with. I went to order a refill and see all sorts of negative comments that the refills are bad, maybe knock offs and not actual Parker, and they leaked, wrote scratchy etc. So I am a bit irritated as I spent a lot on this pen for business needs. The pen barrel is lovely and elegant but the pen is really only as good as the ink cartridge and so far it is a strike out.

Great value for the money. Pen wrote perfectly out of the box. Beautiful pen I'll keep for years.
