It took me several applications and a lot of scraping but I was able to completely remove the tape from our fridge without damaging the surface. I used about 3/4 of the bottle. It's a small bottle but for a smaller project it would last awhile. I don't mind the smell - citrus scented. I don't know what kind of adhesive was on that double sided "easy to remove" sticky tape but it seriously required elbow grease to remove it. The surface of our fridge is completely unharmed.
