This is my first Clever Fox budget planner, as my last budget planner is no longer available. I looked at lots of different planners and decided on the Pro because I like the visual of the monthly pie chart and I prefer to have a large double page calendar. The book is really nicely finished, the paper quality is good, it’s larger than A5 and it has all the tracking pages I like. The only ‘negative’ I can see is that the preprinted categories on the monthly pages don’t quite match with some of my own budget categories. However, a thin washi tape to cover the words has sorted that. Also, there’s lots of trackers at the back for savings and debts which is great - but I’d prefer if these were unlabelled too as I plan to track my sinking funds there as I’m down to 1 debt. This planner would be 100% perfect if those things were left blank so that you could choose what it says. As it is, it’s pretty close to what I need and easily fixed with some pretty tape.

This is my 3rd budget planner from clever fox so thought I'd try the pro version. It's so useful. I like the fact this size is slightly bigger so can add more detail. This version also has a notes section next to the calendar. I will make use of the cash envelopes too.

Turned up in only shrink wrap! Literally nothing protecting it from getting dented or torn in the post. Luckly it was delivered without any marks otherwise I would have returned it. For £20 postie protection should be provided for books.The book itself is a great colour, very sturdy thank goodness and has plenty of stickers in the back. Wish they had more sinking funds stickers though as there was only 2 to spread over 12 months. Why do these budgeting books only come with $ stickers? So annoying!!! Wish they did one with £ stickers. Like the different sections but there isn't much room for expenses on the monthly pages. I have 18 expenses where as this only has 11 as well as a expenses list at the back of the book. Bit confused but I'll work something out.

Great planner to start budgeting, track expenses, and to review finances at end of month. Lots of different sections and areas of expense helps to record and visualise where money is being spent, and you get to record your savings as you go along.Good goals setting at the beginning and for each month too. Stickers are included which makes budgeting all the more fun. Love the calendar aspect too, helps to see the month.Lost a star because when I completed the calendar for April 2023, there wasn’t enough space to put the last day (though I guess I could have put that in the available calendar row where it was blank). Also received two sheets of the same stickers so figured that was a mistake and possibly missed out on different stickers to use.Overall - would recommend, and would buy again.

I was disappointed with the Clever Fox life planner pro, but LOVE this budget planner to seperately keep track of my spending! It's got a hard cover, thick pages that are crisp white, it's easy to fill in, and it's laid out really clearly. I think the worst I can say about it is that the grey cover is darker than it appears in the photo (but I still love it), and that there wouldn't be enough 'pay day' stickers for someone who gets paid weekly.Definitely glad I gave clever fox a 2nd chance!!!! And will probably buy one of these again in 2023.
