EMBerg Waterproof Wire Splice Kit for Wire Break Repair in Electric In-Ground Dog Fence Systems and Robot Lawn Mowers

No instructions included but easy enough to look up online or read other reviews. Replacement wire is expensive and I only needed a little, not 500ft so this kit was perfect. I was a novice with no clue what I was doing when I started and felt like a pro after. I used this to fix my invisible fence for my dog after the line was cut in multiple places by some contractors that didn’t know it was there (my fault). No need to strip wires, used a rubber mallet to smash the caps, the hardest part of the whole thing was re-burying the wires after it was all fixed!

Easy to use and fixed broken electric dog fence in minutes. As someone else said, the hardest part was burying the line. I didn't follow instructions to NOT cut wires but after using, now I know I didn't need to do it. Used plyers to clamp down blue heads. Wire anchors spikes were a bonus.

It was easy to use. Make sure you get the wires all the way in before you squeeze the connector. A couple of the connectors were partially squeezed so I threw them away but there are plenty for several repairs.

By ordering this when I had a cut in my low voltage line for my land Droid mower the repair was quick and simple. We'll worth the time if you need items for your repair that you don't have or cannot find.

I dug in the wrong place and broke the electric fence perimeter. My bad. I have now used two of these same kits and they are great. The connectors need a vice grip to close them fully and thus make a waterproof connection. The wire is difficult to strip without at proper stripper tool. Well worth keeping his one on hand.

These clips were easy to use, but instructions would have been helpful. I bought these 4 months ago to use to splice my hidden fence as we were redoing our driveway. Worked great for 4 months, but after a rainstorm our hidden fence tripped. Called the fence installers and they found the issue was the splicers. I had to use a couple. The technician said these ones were known to fail.Annoyed that I just spent $250 for the fence company to diagnose and replace my splices and I now have a cut across my new driveway. Don't waste your money on these if you intend to use them for permanent projects.

imagine my surprise when i found a splice kit here that promised to fix my " invisible fence" brand dog system. I was planting shrubs and oops! I cut through the wire. ( on another note, that root slayer shovel with the red circle handle really works lol) . This was the easiest thing ever. Read the simple instructions and my anxiety was over. You don't even have to strip that plastic coating off the wires! just insert one, two, close the little snap together ( make sure this is closed correctly- i used pliers until it seated, and re buried. I was so glad to hear that beeping stop in my garage, And my dogs were none the wiser.

Very easy and quick to fix a broken invisible fence, 5 minutes max. Hopefully the fix has longevity.

Surprised that this kit provided stranded wire instead of solid core wire. I have never been a fan of burying stranded wire! On the positive side, the insulation does appear heavier than the normal electronic stranded wire cable. The better quality Dog/Invisible fences specifically call for solid core 14 - 16 AWG wire.The wire connectors were a surprise as they are 3 wire where i was expecting 2 wire. They are grease cup connectors and easy to connect. They make an electrical connection through the insulation which is convenient. However, I did wrap the connectors with waterproof electrical tape. I didn't have any requirement for the stakes.
