I purchased entry door handles to upgrade from traditional knob styles. I love the modern sleek look & functionality. It is sturdy & seems well made. Unfortunately after installation I got locked out (my fault 🤦‍♀️ I forgot to put the new key on my key ring) I had to call a MASTER locksmith & was told "this is a very good lock" it was not easy getting me back into my home. 😉 I felt good about that. I am very pleased with my purchase & the price. Rekeying was also easy for the installer. I would recommend this product to others.👍🏽

Updated an entire rental property with Kwikset Casey series for a clean modern look. The keyed sets are Smartkey re-keyable. Easy install. Sturdy, tight construction. Despite its reasonable cost, it conveys quality in look and feel. If you are looking for a matching deadbolt, try the Kwikset 660 Contemporary series, which also sports the Smartkey capability.

Great locking lever handle. Modern and heavy duty. Would like to share a trick for when you switch the handle from left to right or vs. The set screw usually comes out and then screws back in to se the handle. On this one you don't remove the set screw just unscrew it with the handle in place and it will tighten against the handle. Never seen this before so it took me a while to figure it out! My box came with no instructions and there was nothing online that I could find. Now that the handle is in it looks and works great.

What’s Great: Installation is very straightforward, just a screwdriver and a few minutes, even if you’re not handy. The reversible handle design for left or right swing doors is a thoughtful touch. It still functions pretty well. The finish, while attractive, can show fingerprints more easily than expected. It’s Grade 3 certified, which is fine for normal residential use, but not top-level security (Grade 1 is the highest). Bottom Line: A dependable, easy-to-install lock with good security features and smart convenience. Great for homeowners wanting solid reliability without breaking the bank. Verdict: A trustworthy choice for everyday home security, excellent value for the price.

Good Quality, easy install for replacement in my case. Everything included, nice finish, not sure of durability at this point. They do upgrade the look because of the contrast of the black finish; in my case on painted white panel doors.

The knob ships for right-handed configuration. It is possible to swap sides so that the key is in the correct vertical orientation on a left-handed door, but no instructions are included, and the ten or so YouTube videos I watched did not apply to this model. Read on to flip the lock cylinder, it’s quite straightforward. Find the included Allen key in the box. On the keyed side, unscrew the set screw (right hand thread, so turn counterclockwise) and remove the handle. You should see the key mechanism. Using some needle nose pliers or a thin screwdriver, pry the E-clip away from the assembly. The key lock should fall out. Invert it and put it back. Reassemble. (Much easier than removing spindles and buying the special tool like most YouTube videos suggest!) Note that if you are flipping the door handle on the knob (not the key) side, the set screw is a left hand thread!! Turn it COUNTERclockwise to screw it IN to the housing to free the handle. I have some choice words for the designers… Aside from that, great kit, it has all the parts you need and two keys. Easy to install.

I have a house FULL of kwikset locks, primarily because they are typically quality items and the rekey feature is very handy when needed. So imagine my shock when purchasing this item, new from Amazon, and noting when trying to install it, the interior handle latch wont mount due to a sheared key screw. I notified Kwikset via phone, and provided requested proof and invoice from Amazon. They refused claim outright stating the item I bought was used? HUH? And since there is no way to reply to the email, they basically just told me to pound sand. I COULD return the item to Amazon, but I am not going to do that. Instead, I will be spending whatever time I can, ensuring NO ONE buys this garbage. Ever. The Durability? Garbage. Ease of use? Non existent. And yes, I have all the receipts and photos proving any statement made here. Buyer beware.
