Very clear optics.
I've had a monocular for a few years, but wanted one that was better quality and 10 x magnification. This Hawke 10x25 ED has well fitting end caps and with a rubber coating feels rugged and is about as small as it could be with 25mm lens. The case is usable, but makes it much more bulky, so I will just use it with the end caps in a pocket or rucksack.I like the focus ring, it doesn't need to be turned far, but it is easy to get the right focus and it doesn't move once set. The optics are good, nice and clear without obvious distortion or colour effects, and it is easy to hold steadily. I only have one criticism and that I have found it isn't possible to use it while wearing my glasses. Very few small binoculars are good with glasses, so this wasn't a surprise. In fact, I expected it, and as usual will just move my glasses up when using this excellent monocular.

Great little monocular worth the money
I have many Hawke products as they are great quality and amazing warranty only ever had too use it once and they were great. So was on the market for a small monocular and so bought this one. Must say I'm amazed at the picture quantity the Ed range is worth the extra money. Its nice and small comes with a pouch, wrist strap and lens covers. So glad I bought it now.

Superb quality lens and lightweight
The ED lens really shines in this monocular. I've went from a 8x21 to this(10x25) and the extra zoom and bigger lens is much appreciated. I love how light this is. But has some weight to it to feel expensive. If your going to to go for a larger diameter then you increase the weight.Which doesn't make sense as the main purpose for monocular is portability. The only con to this would be the focus ring is slightly tough to turn but I imagine this will slacken over time. Fully recommend the ED version rather than the cheaper model of this product.

Very useful
This is a very useful and pocketable monocular. Easy to carry around and slips in luggage very neatly. I used it on a recent boating holiday and it was very useful for spotting distant buoys. The only things I'd say against it are that it would be better if it came with a neck lanyard and the focus is quite stiff. Other than that, great!

Feels good quality and magnification
This is easy to carry and good magnification. It feels robust. The case is too big to make it comfortable to fit in a pocket so I use it without the case.
