**Q: How do you see if the maxfire retro is full?, the "window" at the bottom front seems to only be cosmetic?**
A: The window is not cosmetic, internally there is a "double tank" which takes a lot of gas until it looks full, if you tilt the lighter back and forth you will see the gas easier. Hope this helps.

**Q: I have a mens youtube channel and i would like to feature some of your lighters is this something you would consider and who do i contact**
A: If I had the time, I would love to, but unfortunately I'm a chef, and this is my busy season.

**Q: What material are the elements made of? Ceramic? What exactly do they consist of and what is the expected life?**
A: I think the elements are steel. The lighter feels solid, but the flip up lid's spring feels like it'll be the first bit to go. The flame is controllable at the fill port. A full tank will last about a week and a bit of ciggies on max afterburner! The flicky lighter bit is smooth and satisfying to use as it flips up the lid and ignites the flame with a very satisfying BWOOOSSSHhhh.. The fuel tank window is hard to see through unless you're in good light.

**Q: Does the lighter come ready to use?**
A: No.just fill with gas which is so easy, and away you go. Great lighter never let's you down.

absolutely beautiful very fancy jets (beware there is no safety switch at all) I have the flame quite low down as it can be a bit overkill for a candle, but the flame can go incredibly tall if adjusted so. first I had no idea how to fill up lighters propperly so it wouldnt fill, (this was just me being silly though it deffinetly does fill if you know how to fill a lighter)
