Stayput White Pull Cords - 10 Pack, Used with Shock Cords & Zippers for Canvas Sold Separately

The product is just fine. I replaced 5 elastic loops and anchors on the transom end of a boat cover. That entails a mounting anchor (2-piece) and a stretchable cord that will engage a knob on the boat. To facilitate the action, an extra pull loop is added. My only gripe/frustration is that I had 5 of these to replace. The cord plus anchor comes in a 4-pack...so I ordered 2 packs; the loop comes in a 10-pack! Also, I'm not into repairing boat canvas! It would have helped to have some instruction for how to remove the old units. For me it was a bit of trial and error; finally drilled out the center post of the anchor and everything went like a breeze from that point on. These seem to be identical to the ones I was replacing. I expect to get another 8 years from them.

I used a drill to drill out the center of the old cords attached to the canvas cover. They came out easily with using a drill bit equal in diameter to the center attachment of the shock cords.

Works as expected. Clean and functional.
