Fleece Polypropylene Halter

Really like this halter. My horse needs to wear her halter when turned out since she can be tough to catch without it. And she needs a breakaway, since she likes to "throw it in reverse" when she's decided she doesn't want to be tied. (Bottom line: she's a bit of a diva.) I've had this halter for a couple of years and it's held up, and it's a snap to replace the breakaway section. I put some faux fleece velcro halter covers on the lower parts that don't have flece padding since she was getting rubs on her cheeks over the summer when she's on all-night turnout. (Such a fragile flower...). So it's really a great turnout halter.

When you have an ultra-sensitive horse, this is the only halter to own. It's construction is sturdy, but the fleece padding adds extra comfort in all the places my horse needs it. And on a deep chestnut horse, the navy blue looks fabulous.

Halter broke the same day I put it on my horse. All he did was rub his head on hay feeder. Very disappointed. No replacement break away included in purchase.

This halter is awesome and holds up better than the other inexpensive fleece halter, which I thought I would try. It lasted a week. This holds up to rolling in the mud and halter tag. I’m ordering a second one for rainy weather so the other has a chance to dry. I don’t like putting regular ones on him because he gets rub marks.
