Fantastic 2 player game!
Great 2 player game! Instructions are a little tough to follow just reading, but really easy to catch on and get going when you’re playing!

Excellent two player game.
This game has quickly become a favorite in the house. A great strategic tile laying game that plays in around 40 mins.It comes in a compact smallish box with about 35 or so tiles and a small playing board. But don't be put off by that. It packs a lot of punch in such a simple design.I personally like tile laying games and regularly play Carcassonne, Cascadia and Alhambra. If you like any of those you'll like Botanik.I won't go into the game play here. Just watch an online review video and you'll soon get the grasp of it. Note it can only be played by two players.Even though both players place tiles into their tableau don't be fooled into thinking there is no interaction. Fail to keep an eye on what your opponent is building at your peril !That's where the game really shines. Whilst laying the right tiles into your own tableau will gain you more victory points at games end, preventing your opponent from getting the tiles they need, or forcing them to play one they don't want, can be just as rewarding.The rules are easily learned, especially if you watch a short video review first. If you want a great 2 player tile laying game look no further than Botanik.Highly recommended 8.5/10
