Not quite a perfect replacement/substitute of a C size battery
I got these for my Mag flashlight. First, I placed fresh alkaline AA batteries inside the spacer. Then, I inserted two of the C battery spacers into my Mag flashlight and when I push the on switch, there was no light, as though the batteries were dead.I examined the bottom of the flashlight and there was a big metal spring that was much wider than the bottom of the AA battery, so there was no connection between the bottom (negative polarity end) of the last battery and the spring. C size batteries have a big round bottom, while the AA batteries have a very small bottom. The smaller bottom can make for a bad connection or no connection, which will result in your device not getting the voltage needed to operate run properly. My solution was to put a pre-1981 penny (95% copper content) between the last battery and the spring that is attached to the end cap. Then the flashlight worked perfect, like it had real C size batteries in it.For some things, these C spacers might not work as a C battery replacement and in those instances, the solution would likely be to insert a piece of metal that conducts electricity, such as a copper coin or steel disc under the negative terminal end of the battery, so that the voltage can flow.

Great for fitting 1.5V AA lithium batteries to C size.
Perfect for fitting Energizer Ultimate Lithium Batteries AA into my C-sized battery-powered gadgets. They don't make C-sized 1.5 volt lithium batteries but this option works well. They're never exposed to extreme temperatures or to any external charging. Some of my gadgets (wireless doorbell, wind/temp meter, pH meter, Geiger counter, static & EMF field meters) can sit dormant for months where I would have to remove alkaline batteries to prevent them from leaking corrosives into the battery compartment and destroying the instrument. With lithium batteries I don't have to fear any leakage and can have my gadgets at the ready for whenever I need them. Watch that you don't push the battery's positive terminal too far past the top of the adapter or it won't fit properly in your C battery compartment. The AA battery will click into place when it's properly seated within the adapter.

Worked perfectly with AA eneloops
Our Recoton wireless speakers have more than earned their keep since their purchase in the early 1990s. Combined w/the Next Generation Remote Control Extender it's been possible to interact w/different audio systems in multiple residences to have music indoors, and out, anywhere a speaker can be taken, within range limits, of course. But lately there's been sporadic interference over the speaker plugged into a kitchen electrical outlet, maddening when it's inconvenient to fiddle w/controls. So the bathroom speaker, which requires 6 C batteries but works well courtesy of 6 AA eneloops in eneloop brand C adapters, was put into service until the extra eneloop AA to C sleeves could be located. This review was written because they've chosen to remain incommunicado somewhere, and thanks to these Miraclekoo C Size Battery Spacers—not to mention amazon's Next Day delivery option—they've been thwarted and there's music within earshot once again! There's no reason why these shouldn't last even longer than the speaker they're in, so I can wholeheartedly recommend them.

Perfect fit
These work perfectly to take AA batteries and stuff them into something that wants a C. So far I've used them with Sanyo Eneloops, Amazon Basics, and some non-rechargeable Kirkland batteries. They all slide in and out with no issues. The only issue you will likely have is that non-rechargeable C-cell batteries generally hold waaaay more energy than a rechargeable AA. So if you're using these in something that wants a lot of juice, you'll find yourself making lots of trips to your charger.

Exactly what I needed to put AAs into a device that wanted Cs
I have a large number of rechargeable AA batteries, and one device that needs C batteries. These let me slide the AA batteries into the holder, and put them in that one device. They're notably a lot cheaper than the name-brand Eneloop adapters also available, and from all appearances are essentially identical.I received a package of six holders. They appear to capture the AA battery on one end (the positive terminal) with some small tabs to keep you from pushing the AA battery in too far. Beyond that, it's just a friction fit. Easy enough to put in new batteries, although they're unlikely to fall out (and in almost all cases, they'll be held in by a spring anyway). Don't forget that anything you power with these around AAs will run through the AAs much faster than it will actual C batteries, but that's a trade-off I'm willing to make.

Did Not Work For Me - But Amazon Had My Back
I tried to use these in a radio that requires C cells, because I cannot find C cell lithium batteries. (Lithium batteries will not corrode). It did not work. I had to install alkaline C cells (which will corrode, given enough time). Amazon accepted my return & paid the return postage & issued a complete refund (which is one of the best reasons to be an Amazon customer).

Just as good as the Eneloop braned spacer only cheaper
We've been using Sanyo (now Panasonic) Eneloop AA/AAA batteries for more than 10 years. Recently we picked up some devices that called for 4"C" batteries and were using the Eneloop C and D size spacers. I wanted more spacers but did not like the prices, so I took a chance on these and they work like a champ but are much cheaper than the Eneloop branded spacers. Most AA Ni-MH batteries like the Eneloop are just slightly taller than alkaline AA batteries (and the spacer does not interfere) but in our application we were able to squeeze a pair in series next to another pair in series because the end posts were not rigid. I wish manufactures would account for the use of Ni-MH batteries in their designs to make it easier to use.

Limited battery life
So far, I have found the battery life span very short. I used the A++ plus spacers to replace C batteries. They are lighter than the C batteries but having rarely used the light (over a picture) I was surprised that I had to charge them twice in about 3 weeks. The spacers work fine.

Exactly as described
These work well. Snugly fit one AA battery. Material seems strong and I think these can last for years and years. Real money saver as don't have buy expensive C cell batteries all the time. AA are readily available almost any store.
