CRAP!!!!!!
This is CRAP!!!!! The worst thing I have EVER ordered on Amazon!!!!! I needed this before my open house, it came on time but looked terrible!!! The whole thing doesn't line up.....terrible DO NOT BUY!!!! I had to scramble to fix the area I needed this for.

Delivered in two halves as hoped
When I ordered I hadn't realized that I would be cutting this to fit a 6" opening I was under the impression it would fit. I used a small pull saw to do the trick which required some sanding. In the end it has a half inch gap between the fixture and the center of medallion. I cut it that way because it was the easiest and cleanest way to trim it down to size. If I were to do this again I would have definitely gotten out a jig saw. My grand idea was to use Command Strips to adhere it to the ceiling but I don't think that is going to be a permanent solution as they really don't want to stick to the medallion. I'll figure it out eventually.

Served its purpose perfectly.
Had a new fixture that the ceiling cover didn't' quite match the old one, and instead of doing sheetrock repair and paint 20 feet in the air. slapped this bad boy up, some extra strength adhesive, and it looks as good as I could have hoped. Perfect for what I needed.

Not cheap looking
I really was surprised at the quality of this product. Even though it comes in 2 pieces for each of install, the pieces fit snug together and does not require any glue! It is perfect for filling the gap when installing newer ceiling fans on older homes and the bracket holder in new fans do not fit snug against the ceiling. You can cut the medallion to fit the size of the holder on the fan so removing the fan to install is not needed.

Fit together fine. Looks good. Can see why some arrive damaged. Not packed well at all. I was lucky.
