It has only been banned from usbc national events. Its ok for league and state tournaments.

Pray for desent specs. This ball is illegal also
This ball is illegal for bowling leagues, tournaments . Funny how this seller doesn't tell you. Also if you want certain specs for ball good luck there's no why to ad it. Avid bowlers know what specs help them . Bad specs the ball is limited and can make ball hit soft and no curve. Good luck.
