Q: Is it certified organic? I honestly don't think it is.

Not sure how it could be certified organic, honestly. How could anyone make sure every bee stayed only in a certified organic field? I would not buy this product if being certified is important to you. I did buy this product and it is very high quality and I would buy it again.

Q: This beeswax melted the first time I used it. It hasn’t melted since. Does anyone know what could be wrong?

The last time I melted these in the microwave, and it seemed to take forever. Next time I'll use a double boiler. You didn't say what method you used, so I hope this helps.

Q: Is this Beeswax good for making soap?

I have no idea, but I would think so. I am switching to the white beeswax because I used this to make lotion and it just does not dissolve properly and there are always small chunks and I cannot stand that. I melted it down with the other products all the way to liquid and I did it 3 times and after it returns to a solid state, there are always chunks. Yuck!
