As a new mom with a fussy baby, I was advised to purchase a wedge to help my baby sleep in his bassinet. So I searched on Amazon for what is available and compared brands and prices. I was very close to going with a cheaper brand because I wasn’t sure if it was worth spending more on basically a lifting pillow. Well thankfully I did go with this brand because I am pleased with its quality, feel of comfort, ease of cleaning and overall fit in his bassinet! It has aided to our baby sleeping better in his bassinet thankfully and since I went for a quality brand like this, I know that it will last not just for this baby but for the next one in the future. Fits perfectly in a Halo bassinet. My daughter had reflux really bad when she was an infant and I tried the blanket under the mattress in her bassinet and was never level enough so she would roll to one side of it during the night. Once I got this it made it level and so much better for her. She started sleeping through the night instantly. When we transitioned her to the crib I even stuck it under her crib mattress at first to slowly break her of having it and it still worked fantastic.

Our son was born six weeks early and has some trouble breathing through his mouth when he is laying flat. We thought this wedge pillow would be a great way to help him not choke on his spit up and breath through it. While that issue hasn’t stopped, the wedge pillow has been great in almost every other area - it’s reasonably priced, sturdy, soft, easy to clean, fits perfectly in our 16” bassinet. Perhaps it’s because our baby is smaller, but if we position his chest higher in the wedge pillow, he does seem to wiggle down and out of his tight swaddle blankets. Otherwise, it’s a great investment and will probably work better when any is older and bigger.

My daughter seems to sleep better with this wedge. She still has occasional spit ups but the volume has definitely decreased. We're doing all we can to make sure our daughter is comfortable and this has been helpful.Fits under her bassinet sheet. There is a little gap between the sides of the pillow and the bassinet but it's not enough that I'm too concerned about. However, I check it every so often. Firm but not a rock so she's not sinking into the pillow. Looks like a good angle for her back. It's not slipping and sliding everywhere so I don't have to worry about the wedge moving around in the bed.I really like this wedge and hope it's doing a great job. My daughter hasn't complained. Haha

This is a great pillow to use in case your baby shows symptoms of reflux or GERD problems. In my case, after each feeding, I let my baby rest on my lap for about 10 to 15 minutes, and then I lay her down on the bed with her head elevated; this routine has dramatically reduced her spits up. I don't let her fall asleep while using the pillow because I think she may easily roll, but you can definitely use it while doing your diapers change or playtime. Other than that, I think this pillow its excellent, affordable, and easy to clean. By the way, my baby is seven weeks old.

This wedge is a great idea for babies who sleep better inclined or who are struggling with acid reflux or GERD, but it doesn't fit all bassinets snugly.Infant safety while sleeping is a big deal, especially if you add a slope to the sleeping surface, which increases the probability of your baby rolling or sliding. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that all crib or bassinet mattresses fit snugly with no gaps greater than 3/4" around the edges. Almost all consumer products for infants meet that standard today right out of the box, but adding things to the sleep environment can change that!This wedge is slightly smaller than the curved shape of the Halo bassinet we wanted to use it in, leaving a portion of the bassinet mattress unsupported at the edges. This can create a small gap that your baby could end up facedown in if he or she rolls or slides.Many people have no problems at all using this product, but my wife and I just weren't willing to take the risk of a gap at the edges, so we returned this wedge. The product itself is a nice, firm foam with a washable cover, and is clearly of good quality, but the fit in each individual bassinet will vary.

I bought this wedge out of desperation for my almost 3 month old who suffers from reflux. After several weeks of rolling up blankets to elevate her head to keep the reflux down, I finally decided to research products to aid us and boy was I happy to come across this product! After reading numerous reviews, I knew this was a no-brainer. What I love: I love the softness of this wedge, the fact that it actuall prevents her reflux and fits perfectly in "Her Royal Sweetness'" bassinet. This wedge has brought me a peace of mind when I lay her down to sleep as I no longer have to worry about her spitting up when resting. And no, there's been no episodes of reflux when using the wedge. I received this wedge on a Sunday, writing this review on a Tuesday, and there hasn't been a time that I have not used it when laying her down since purchase. It's been that doggone good!!! Also, The first night of having the wedge, she slept for 6+hours which allowed me to know she felt relief. I use this wedge in her bouncer, her play gym, baby nest bed as well as her bassinet, for naptime and bedtime. She'll soon have a nanny and I plan to make sure the nanny uses this product! A great investment that I would purchase 30x over for the quality of life it's brought to "Her Royal Sweetness." Thank you! I hope my review is helpful.
