D&K Monarchy Women's Seamless Thick Fleece Full Length Leggings

I bought the thick fleece kind for Halloween mostly because they were the only nude ones I could find with Amazon prime 2 day in my size that didn't need additional prep time to ship it I am just on the boarder of being the large/plus sized, I'm about a size 14. I was wearing a knee length skirt and it was susposed to be cold! Nude leggings are really hard to find offline unless your like a dancer (probably because girls are typically wearing leggings as pants and nude ones make you look like your not wearing anything from the waist down) I sent my boyfriend to buy me a pair at a Halloween store that I thought would have something like that and he bought me tights so last minute I needed to find something- glad I found these. There are only 2 things that keep me from rating 5 stars because there really nice but they were a little funny the beginning of the night, I know they say they stretch a little, if you can I would definitely wear them arround the house the first time because they seem to be kind of short in the butt and the front at first and they want to ride down at first. But I didn't have time for that. And it's kind of a weird nude color- it looks kind of noticeable like there not a natural skin tone. I would only wear the nude ones again for Halloween next year or under clothes where you couldn't see them maybe- for warmth, you couldn't wear the nude ones as pants it would look weird but I think I might buy other colors to go with boots, leg warmers, and sweaters for our cold Wisconsin winters. There a lot thicker than the ones I've been buying from Target in seasons past (I often doubled up pairs/stuck a black pair under my colored ones) and they come in more colors than the yoga leggings I bought last year which are thick but usually only come in plain black or black with a small logo or a little writing on the leg and these are also super super soft like a really soft blanket.

We don't have many cold spells in the desert, but this season has brought many challenges to stay warm and keep the arthritic joints from aching.The existing reviews were somewhat mixed on these leggings, but they sounded really great and decided to give them a try.They arrived on a cold wet afternoon (that turned into snow!) that had me slipping them on under my jeans immediately. They went on smoothly and were oh, so warm! I travel next door about 10-15 times daily to care for an elderly parent and his pooch, so I'm always exposed to the weather, day and night, rain or shine. These leggings kept me toasty well into the evening. The sad part came when I took off my jeans and discovered the fabric had developed a severe case of 'pilling' and smelled just horrible!I was hoping that washing would cure both issues, but it did not. The pilling remained, and the 'petroleum' odor did not go away; in fact increased so much I would not put them in my dresser drawer after laundering. They were washed in cool water, Woolite and hung to dry.I have tried to wear them again, but had to take them off after about a half hour due to the odor. They are now in a ziplock baggie at the bottom of my laundry basket.The final negative about these leggings, is that I felt they did not 'breathe'. Yes, they were warm and they had a fuzzy under texture, but whatever material and chemicals were used in their manufacture are not skin friendly!I may have gotten that one in 100 that has the problem, but this 'one' can not be recommended.

These leggings are one size fits most. I wear a size 4 in women's and a size 7 in juniors. These fit comfortably although they are loose at the waist. I was counting on them to be loose though, as I bought them for the intention of wearing them as maternity leggings. As my stomach gets larger these will fit great! There is a ton of stretch at the waist. If you are a small person, one size fits most will almost always be too big. I will say that they don't seem so loose that they will fall off. I purchased the thick leggings so that I will be warm when winter comes. They are soft and very thick. I am not sure if you can tell from the product photos but, there is a bit of a sheen to the outside of these leggings. They have a sateen type finish. I didn't really want leggings with a sheen but, they don't look bad. It isn't overly shiny. Although this product fits with most of the criteria for what I was looking for, there is one aspect that might make them unwearable for myself and maybe others. These leggings emit a noticeable chemical odor. At first when I took them out of the package I didn't really notice but, I washed them once and it seemed to bring out the odor more. I have sent them through the washing machine (literally) seven times just to get rid of that smell. They smell much better but, there is still a small hint of odor. I believe the manufacturer is in China so, obviously they have lax standards when it comes to the use of chemicals in clothing. If you don't mind having to wash them a million times or, don't mind the smell of chemicals then these might be for you.***Update: I have had these leggings for about two months now. The chemical odor is gone due to washing (thankfully.) However, I have decided that I really don't like these leggings. The thing I don't like is that they snag super easily and have pills all over them. I have a dog who sits on my lap a lot and, he likes to chew his nylabone while he sits on my lap. The nylabone has jagged parts on it, which snagged my leggings very easily. If these were made of a "normal" legging material this wouldn't have happened. Also, there are pills between my thighs where my thighs rub together. There are also pills where the top of my boots rub my leggings.
