Hands down best traction socks out there, an automatic buy!
I wear a size 12-13 and it fits like a glove. Keeps my feet from slipping and sliding around as I'm doing my walking around the house routines on hardwood simulated laminate flooring that I need to do post spinal surgery. Sitting upright post op without putting my legs up on a high ottoman that came with the couch was something to get used to as well, but all in the name of proper healing and spinal health I'll sit upright with them on the floor at a proper angle. This means my feet would easily slide forward on the slippery floor uncomfortably and annoyingly as I put pressure on them to push back and keep pressure on my lower lumbar spine, so I was forced to use the one pair of free traction hospital socks I used there that were already cheap and wearing down to try and curb this. Thanks to Amazon Prime and next day delivery I picked up the two pack for a very reasonable price. The fit is superb, the socks are so incredibly soft and cost my wife is jealous. I cannot overstate how fuzzy comfy cozy these things are. I've been cold since surgery more so and I'm a guy that normally likes it freezing, these keep me extra warm. The traction and way they "stick" to the floor is really remarkable. I just want to mention one final time how fuzzy and cozy they are. These are high quality socks for a great deal. If I need additional pairs I will definitely be a repeat customer and if needed will easily recommend to any of my friends and if you, my fellow Amazon compadres, are looking and shopping between the many competition brands out there - take my advice and go with these. You won't regret it.

Comfy, thick, best nonskid socks I've found
I wear these around the house all the time. I have to wear arch supports, too, and they fit great right inside the socks. I wear them summer and winter, with light cotton or wool socks, and my feet are never hot or cold. Such cute socks. I love them!Pros: Thick, soft, very comfy, nonskid bottom works well and has good coverage of bottom of foot, easy to put on, machine washable, a couple of good colors.Cons: Not cotton (I hardly ever buy clothing if it's not made of cotton, but as I always wear cotton or wool socks under these, sticky feet are not a problem as they would be if I wore the nonskid socks directly on my feet.) Not machine dryable (it's easy to hang to dry them but also easy to forget and throw them in the dryer, and if you do, the nonskid thingies don't last long). Not many colors (Blue, pink, and purple are ok, but it would be nice if they offered a nice bright red or even some polka dots or stripes.) Name (hospital socks??? It's a wonder I bought these. I love to wear socks in the house, and these are by far the best I've found, but I certainly don't think of them as hospital socks. I've gotten many compliments on them, and no one has referred to them as hospital socks, either. Be original, sellers, and I'll bet you'll sell more socks!

Excellent "Hospital Socks", Super Comfy, Your Feet Will Thank You.
After being hospitalized for various ailments through the years. I realized that as much as I truly did not care for hospital attire, these socks were an enormous exception to that rule. I would carefully return home from each hospital stay, keeping my precious new socks close to me at all times. Inevitably they became worn, and developed holes in the most unexpected places. I was quite sad each time that I had to send a pair of hospital socks off to the hospital sock retirement community home. However, one day it suddenly occurred to me to check Amazon, and my life is much improved as a result. These socks are far more "comfy", soft, and caring on my tired, "end of a working day" feet. Actually this sock is far better than the actual sock that is dispensed at the hospital - far, far softer, and the rubber sole patches are far less likely to allow a (very) undesirable slip, slide, or fall on those very unforgiving hard floors.I have purchased this brand and style of the socks several times now. I love the socks so much, that I wear them without my slippers while home. These socks are tough little guys, but even they will not will not withstand daily use on hard and uncarpeted floors. They are indeed quite sturdy though. The one size fits all claim seems to be applicable to those of about size 9.5, or 10, or smaller. They have outstanding rubber gripping patches on the bottom of the sock, and the rubber patches stay put, not peeling away, or wearing-off for these patches.I wash them with my permanent press clothing, using a standard wash soap, on the warm and cold perm. Press washer setting. I never, ever place them in the dryer. There is no quicker way to destroy these socks than frequent stints in the dryer. After the wash load is finished, I remove the socks, and hang them up on a standard, wooden, clothes-drying rack. If one does not follow this method, the socks will lose their elasticity, become worn and "tatty-fIf washed properly, and hung-out to dry, these will last mefor about a year. TThey are great for traveling, I slip my heels off once in the plane, stow my heels under the seat in front of me, and wear a pair of hospital socks during the flight. They are amazingly easy on the foot for long trips, and protect my panty hose at the same time.If properly cared for and maintained, these socks are a real bargain - both in terms of comfort, as well as in price. I love them, and my colleagues have picked-up my sock habit, after watching me with my happy and soothed feet, at the end of a long flight. The cost is minimal when comparedto all of their residual benefits.I also thoroughly enjoy just wearing them around the house, although my puppy seems to enjoy my hospital socks even more than I ( He and I are working on this issue. I know no shame, bribery is the ticket to happy socks with my pup around ,when he doesn't run off with them, or enjoy them as a yummy midnight snack - I praise him greatly, offering other options for the satisfying of those not to be ignored midnight twinges of hunger. He seems to feel that part of a dried cow ear, or pig ear is his currency of surrender at this point in time ( The rest of my family has already acquired these socks, additionally paying heed to my dire warnings on the matter.Try a few of these socks, your feet will love you for it, These are a comfortable and quality product, I recommend them without reservation,to all forced to deal with swollen, sore, and uncomfortable "evening feet", after a tough day at work.

Toastie warm on the tootsies
These arrived in the nick of time, right before our first frost of the year was expected. I think the best way to describe them is soft, warm and cozy. In the search for a winter slipper to wear around the house, these popped up. My initial thought was a slipper replacement for walking over cold wood floors or tile in the kitchen. Regular slippers do provide nice comfort and warmth, though really not washable. I always felt the need for a pair of socks underneath in addition to the slippers. With these socks, out with the old slippers. They are loose fittings per say, not like a tight dress sock but thick and stay on your feet while moving around. The treads on the bottom take a nice hold when moving across wood or tile. And cozy enough I'm already missing one of the grey ones as my cat ran off with it for bedding purposes. Initial purchase was the smaller multi-pack. I will replace with a larger pack when these wear out. Very happy with the quality and comfort level they provide.
