Exceptional quality, very versitile espcialy the removable joystick alowing you to put the gimal on a jib.More integration with the Fuji X-T3 would be usefullNo face or object trackingOverall very happy with the gimbal.

Fantastic Value
This is a bit of an older gimbal now, but I still find it holds up against the newwer ones. The large pay load capacity it good if you shooting with larger cameras like FS5's and easy connectivity to control the camera with the gimbal. Made of durable aluminium so it can take a knock or two. Lacking in ergonomics compared to other gimbals as it can start to slip though your hands after a while the second handle it a slight gimic as you it's more effort than it's work. Overall good gimbal for price.

Brand spanking new, perfect working order, excellent for the job, top quality, but £250 cheaper than the price elsewhere 🤷

Terrible support legs for Manfrotto FAST Carbon Fibre Gimboom
Bought this for the Manfrotto FAST Carbon Fibre Gimboom. I have to say this is a really poor attachment for the Gimboom. When attached it’s stable, still has a bit of wiggle no matter how much you tighten it up. If you’re using a DJI Ronin 2 with the app to remote control the legs really wobble. Speaking of the legs, they are so filmsy and loose. Really doesn’t help keep the Gimboom steady when using a gimbal. Really expected better from Manfrotto.

Shaking Stevens could learn a trick or too from this one!
OK so as a BBC trained camera operator and photo-journalist - with 30 years' experience I thought: " it's time to buy my own gimbal."I've been using a 'flycam' (a bit like the old counter weight steadycam) for a few years. I , recently, noticed the Amazon Manfrotto store was selling the 300XM at a great price....So, a month ago, I bought one at a keen price! Now a month later it's price is even keener! And now I know why!Today I had the time to try out the unit before a trip to the Dolomites. I balanced the camera on the gimbal (and believe me you need to do that on any gimbal) and switched it on. Well it started Morris Dancing with my expensive kit attached. I thought that updating the firmware would resolve the issue - all to no avail. It's also 'erratic' in its dancing routine. One minute it appears to be working OK...and the next it starts to get an attack of the Saint Vitus Dance - and my camera and lens are trampolening all over the place!!!!I think I know why I got this gimbal at a keen price...and now its been reduced even more I think my suspicions have been confirmed - it's a lemon - unless someone knows otherwise...or maybe I'm just: The Unlucky One'.I have a call into Manfrotto - they, initially, suggested it's a 'balance problem' (crib sheet job?)and will get back to me. I won't be holding my breath. You get what you pay for - so even a respected brand can let you down - when you see a deal too good to be true. Check out the price of this @ B&H's American site - they are almost giving them away!!!!!!!!!Update: Heard nothing back from Manfrotto - since my initial contact

So nearly great …
Unfortunately I had to return this item because it was faulty. In the time it took me to determine whether it was my camera or the gimbal I was able to appreciate the design effort that had gone into this system. While (very) heavy the gimbal was impressively stable and handled my camera and zoom lens easily. I was really hoping that Manfrotto had produced a modular and genuinely useful gimbal system. Unfortunately the build quality /quality control was not adequate - the item sent to me had a very obvious electrical short that was evident as soon as the USB-C cable was inserted. It’s such a shame as the concept really has potential.

Terrible Built
PROS Great features I’ve ever used in any gimbal, better than DJI or Zhiyun IMHOCONS: It is built very poorly. The handle grip became loose after some uses. It felt like it was going to break in half.Manfrotto is such a big name and I can’t believe they would approve of such a weak constructed product
