Klipsch Reference S4 In-Ear Headphones (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

i mainly listen to dance music ok, but i also listen to a whole lot of other stuff too.i had the s4i mk1 and they were absolutely brilliant. nice tight flat response and i even uses them to check the mixdowns and masters of the music i make.the frequency response of the reference s4 however is just all over the place. the amount of bass in these heaphones is just too much and it gives me headaches.well, if you like the sound the Beats headphones go for it, but if you are looking for hi-fi at a decent price go and look somewhere else

These are great earbud headphones, but subjectively I have really tiny ear canals and even the smallest buds don't fit comfortably in my ears. However, if I hold them in place they sound great. In a pinch I use them for monitoring field recordings.A small tin carrying case is also included which is a nice touch and surprisingly useful.

Having owned these for about 2 months now I have come to really love the sound they produce especially considering the price. The only con is that the cable is an incredibly cheap plastic. As long as you take care of them they probably won't break but that doesn't change the fact that they become tangled incredibly easily.

First off I really like how these look. The copper I feel makes them stand out but not ostentatiously.The sound quality is excellent for the price, very well balanced and doesn't throw that off with too much bass like a lot of headphones around the £30 price point do.The phones themselves are quite plasticy though, and dot feel as good as some other brands do, House of Marleys ear buds feel like excellent quality for example. The sound quality does make up for that though.

They worked whilst they lasted. I like Klipsch ear pieces. They are oval and therefore fit well within the ear canal. The device comes with three sizes of earpieces so everyone should be catered for.Unfortunately, the 3mm jack is very flimsy and the connection with the cable failed after less than four months of light use.
