Gertie the Good Goose All Natural Teether - Infant Baby Toy

I bought this for a friend who's baby was going through a horrible teething phase. The baby LOVES it! He won't put it down. It has a nice, soft squeak that makes him giggle and soothes his teething pain better than anything his mom has tried. My friend loves the soft, safe, easy to clean material. I will buy this again and recommend it to everyone with a young child. Great product!

My son is 5 months and had three teeth and Gertie is his favorite teething toy! I bought Sophie before Gertie and he doesn't even bother with Sophie but will play and chew on Gertie. He loves her beak and her feet fit perfectly in his mouth. I am so happy he loves her. She smells amazing too!

Let me start off by saying that when it arrived i took it out the box and immediately noticed a strong smell. After washing it and a few days of airing it out the smell went away.Update: we just purchased a second one, this has been a life saver. My son loves the feet to get just the right spot and I love the squeak when he is having a meltdown it calmes him down and gets him excited .

I don't want to bash too badly since I did return my item. But this was such a bad item. The box was busted and the thing looked used/chewed on before. I put it back in the box and complained. I didn't feel safe giving it to my son. Also, the quality wasn't what I was expecting. It felt like a cheap rubber dog toy from the dollar store. I will say that they refunded my money and handled my return very professional and I am very appreciative.

My son is addicted to this duck. I've bought him tons of teething toys (rings, keys, blankets with the teething edges) and Gertie is the only one that he truly loves. He reaches for her constantly if he sees her and her beak immediately goes in his mouth. She's fabulous!

A must for little ones!

Love it. Easier to for a little one (15 weeks) to manipulate than Sophie.Just wish it didn't squeak. Wouldn't be an issue if we didn't have dogs, but since we do, they go nuts everytime.

I absolutely loved gertie when she arrived. My older kids had sophie when they were little so thought I'd go for something different for my daughters first Christmas. Shortly after xmas it was recalled due to chemical risk! When it's a baby toy that is terrible and worrying. Whether this has now been rectified or not I'd be too concerned to buy another. Wouldn't recommend at all!

Really lovely little teether, my little one has just started to put things in her mouth to experiment with, so thought it may be time to introduce a teether. My only gripe is because of the rubber, some of Gertie's tail is a little rough where the rubber has worn on the point of her tail, however, this is a really gorgeous and effective teether. My baby loves the simple design and colours, sucking and chomping down on the feet and beak. She is able to hold Gertie round the neck with her little hands and bring her to her mouth. Overall, a really lovely natural product and a favourite already with the little one! A bonus is the soft squeak/quack, which surprises the baby when she squeezes Gertie's tummy.

I love that it is different looking and not cheap looking. It's very quirky but quite "aardman like". My 4 month old son is able to grasp it and chew it and seems to like it

Smell like it should.Squeak like it shouldNice toy but It loss paint on the head and feet.I guess my baby after 4 months of hard chewing manage to get the paint out but it shouldn't happend.My partenaire decided to get rid of it.Well baby shouldn't eat plastic paint.So this is why I only give 1 starsI had a Sophie the giraffe for my 1st baby and after 2 years of abuse paint still on.

Gertie seems to be a hit, my 6 month old has taken to her and she’s the ideal size for little hands... poor Gertie went straight in to the mouth for a chew and so far, all good. The only reason for 4 stars, not 5 is that I can’t smell any vanilla at all, just smells like rubber so slightly disappointing and in my opinion it is overpriced, other than that, a lovely teething toy.
