Used for Smittybilt air compressor
I bought this to use on my Smittybilt air compressor. The compressor runs continuously and is considered an “open system”. I wanted to convert it to a “closed system” so I bought this part to make it an “automatic turn off” once it reaches the stated pressure. I watched a few YouTube videos and bought some other needed parts but it didn’t work as I had hoped. It does turn off but then it turns back on after a few moments. I couldn’t find an air leak so either the part is bad or I failed somehow in my construction. Anyway, it appears at the part as well made. I’m guessing I screwed up somewhere in the conversion.

stated it was 1/4 . more like 1/2. had to reorder from a co. at 1/8 to be sure it would fit. don't know how you measure ?
