Great for diets
I got these for the first time a few months ago, and I've purchased them several times since. I like heart of palm products so much better than konjac. Konjac doesn't agree with my stomach so well. This is super-low calorie, yet it fills you up. I also like the consistency of the creamy mash better than the rice/pasta-looking alternatives. I just wish they would market these products as what they area. When I see rice, I expect to taste rice. Same with pasta. So, fair warning, don't buy these and expect mashed potatoes. I add some water to the mash to feel even fuller, and a bit of seasoning (garlic, pepper, cheese, whatever I have available). It's perfect for lunch for me, and holds me over until dinner. I'll keep buying these.

From someone who loves hearts of palm, this product was AWFUL.
I bought a whole multi-pack of these. I expected something delicious, like Kevin's Mashed Cauliflower, except with hearts of palm. There was no comparison. I love hearts of palm and pick them out on salad bars as a top choice (yum at Fogo de Chao!)I managed to choke down about 4 bites before throwing all that money into the trash. The texture/consistency is way too mushy and soupy. The flavor has a weird whang to it and not in a good way. I really wanted to like this product as it fits nicely into the macros of the diet I'm following, but it just wasn't possible. On the other hand, why can't I buy Kevin's Mashed Cauliflower anywhere on Amazon or even in grocery stores that carry other Kevin's products? I've only found one chain (Publix) that carries it. If you're looking for a similar category of food, give the mashed palm a miss and try the Kevin's. No, I don't work for them or anything.

Love it or Hate it, but at least try it.
I love the taste of this, especially with a little butter on top. But this is like any other food, taste is an individual subjective experience. I don't like it better than mashed potatoes but I like it just as well, and is a great side dish option, besides it is a much healthier alternative than mashed potatoes. I like variety in my diet, sometimes I want mashed potatoes and sometimes I want mashed palm hearts. It is a little pricey, but then so are a lot of foods. I like it and buy it by the 6 pack, keeps well in the pantry.

Almost like it...
From the start, the color bothered me because it looks nothing like what the pkg picture looks like. It makes you wonder if it's spoiled. I tasted it, and it has a bitter aftertaste, but very creamy texture - maybe a little too soft. I decided to go for it - added butter, salt and parmesan and thought it was edible, but prob won't buy again because when comparing with Palmini Mash, it doesn't hold up. Palmini flavor isn't a perfect potato but it has way more potential to sit beside a steak than Natural Heaven does.

Yes, you can have mashed "potatoes" again!
It's expensive compared to actual potatoes, but overall a very satisfying substitute for my craving for creamy mashed potatoes. Needs a little help with butter and herbs or gravy, but after one try I was hooked. I also buy this company's "rice" product and it is even better.

Closes thing to real potatoes
I am a diabetic and these things are as close to eating real mashed potatoes as I have ever had. I would recommend them.

Tangy but tasty
Being type 2 diabetic and low carb I don't eat potatoes but I miss them. The taste is a bit tangy but calms down after a bit of butter or cream cheese. I also like cauliflower but it gets expensive. Rutabaga is good too but takes more work. This product is quick and convenient. I get two servings per box.

Horrible taste
It's brown color, it doesn't taste close to real mashed potatoes.I would have returned it, but they don't allow returns, but Amazon did give me back my money. I would not recommend this item.
