This army play set is about what you’d expect for the price. Fairly cheap. It’s also smaller than you’d expect. The photoshopped images on Amazon are a little misleading.It’s made out of low grade plastic, as are all the accessory cars, army men and attachments. All of the decals on it are peel off and stick yourself as are all the plastic snap-off attachments. The toy cars enclosed have thin, super loose axles that are prone to bending with hard play and the main large play-set vehicle will be really hard to open for small hands because the clips are so tight. The giant missile on the carrier is also not removable, so some kids might be disappointed by that.All of that said, this is a pretty good value for the price depending on what you’re looking for. It comes with the main large missile carrying vehicle that opens up to become play set. Inside it holds a helicopter, four vehicles and a bag of 12 army men in 3 different colors (which are not to scale with the rest of the set but are somewhat to scale with the large missile carrier.) The detail on the vehicles is pretty good. You get a jeep, an APC (armored personnel carrier that looks like a fire truck), A humvee and a… minivan? Honestly, it feels lik all of the cars were repurposed and made in tan plastic. Even the helicopter is civilian,Erm.Anyway, there’s enough in this play-set to keep a kid into such things occupied for a while. My son loves army men and I can totally see him using the large play-set vehicle as an APC and army base while discarding the other vehicles entirely.Is it worth the purchase price? Despite the cheap materials and construction, I’d say it’s a decent value given everything it comes with and worth a look if your kid has imagination and you're on a budget.

I got this set to give to our nephews as a gift. The set is bad for what you get and what you pay for it. While the set isn’t quite as big as I expected, it does have a lot of pieces with it and while the plastic isn’t super high quality, it is sturdy enough for playing for a while. I don’t know how long it will last - especially in the hands of a 6 year old. It’s a fun play set.

This toy set is perfect for school aged boys. Would make a great gift. Hours of fun working with their imaginations

... for the price when this set becomes available again. All of it fits back into a single storage unit, so there is that. A basic, inexpensive play set, all things considered.
