Beautiful color, just the right size!

This is more Beautiful than i expected! The outer shape is comfortable to hold in my hands and the Chasen fits Flawlwssly in the stand!😍❤️🍵Can't wait to use it!

V well made, beautiful glazing, and prettier in person definitely

It is the perfect size bowl, wide enough and deep enough. The whisk holder put my whisk right back in like new condition so I'm thrilled. The bowl does hold all the heat from the near boiling water, I just balance it on the bottom ribs to keep from being burned.

This matcha bowl is beyond beautiful. The only problem is that it is SO slippery that I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before I drop & break it while trying to wash it. I wish they had used a different type of glaze to make it a little more grippy, but I’ll enjoy it while it lasts.

TL;DR: Bowl is absolutely beautiful, but a spiderweb of fine cracks in the glaze of my particular bowl make it unsafe to actually use. Out of the box, I was super impressed with how the bowl and whisk holder looked in person. I ordered the "junware-green" and the dark areas of the glaze have a shimmery, metal flake effect that isn't apparent in the listing photos. It's very cool when the light hits it just right. However, when I washed the bowl prior to the first use, it immediately started making a pinging noise every few seconds. The sort of noise it'd make if you tapped on the side of it with your fingernail. I'd never heard of a dish making noises on it's own before, so I did a quick google search to figure out what exactly was happening. I don't fully understand it, but apparently if the glaze doesn't perfectly match the bowl, and doesn't expand and contract exactly as the bowl underneath the glaze does, then it starts to get little cracks in it, which is what is making the pinging noises. All of the little cracks are perfect breeding grounds for bacteria, and you aren't supposed to use a dish that's doing this to eat or drink out of. Because of the pattern of the bowl, I couldn't see any visible cracking, and used the bowl for a few days anyway. The pinging noises were fewer and farther between each time I used it, but I was still hearing them as the bowl sat on my desk after use. After a week of daily use, I shined a flashlight into the bowl, and with the light I am able to see a web of fine cracks inside. I don't feel safe to continue using it, which is a shame, because it's so nice looking, even with the cracks. With so many good reviews, my issue is probably a one-off, and you'll probably not have the same bad luck. But it's a possibility.
