Good value. Does the job. Only gripe is the foam inlay is too tight a fit and actually pushes the pencil out instead of holding it in place but that's just being picky.

At first I thought this was too expensive, but having used it to lay hundreds of meters of vinyl plank flooring, I would say it's worth the money. it has a good case to keep it all together rather than being in the bottom of a tool box. The pencil is excellent and the mechanism works smoothly. I did mail tracer support over an issue too stupid to mention, and they responded almost instantly, and also followed up a couple of days later. First class customer service.

It’s great and it works best for skirting/plinth however the bolts/tightening mechanism is still too loose even when fully tightened. If you put any pressure on the pencil or put too much pressure on the item you’re scribing the pencil moves and you have to readjust. Recommend for horizontal use or flat surfaces and not vertical. If you replace the bolts with something more industrial it would be 5 stars.

This deep hole pencil and scribe is perfect for any marking. Sturdy and going strong still after months of use. The scribe is tricky to get to grips with but when you do it's perfect. Also coming with 6 spare pencil refills 4 grey, 2 yellow. The yellow works great of dark surfaces.

Dont do a job without this clipped to my pocket.

Wow thought this was going to a great product, and the deep hole construction pen actually is. But the Scribing tool, is worse than useless, and that's the main part of the cost and reason for purchase. Bad points. Instruction sheet is done on the cheap, glossy smaller than A5 sheet catering for five different language in a font size that even a young hawk would have a problem reading, why bother? The really bad points The pen gip holder just doesn't work- Its supposed to have a ratchet style mechanism giving 16 fixed positions, it doesn't and on inspection there is no mechanism to do that. Its possible they have supplied the wrong type of pen, but all you have is a tightening screw, which even at maximum tightness doesn't hold the pen, making the whole system useless. Would I buy again? No - Its going back! So bottom line is don't buy this, it doesn't work, and the design says it could never have worked. Looking at some of the other reviews this appears to be an issue with this Scribing tool. To fair the case is good and if you buy and keep this, that's where the scribe will stay!!

Excellent product. High quality, very easy to use. Love the clip for use in pockets or carpenter belt. Excellent for tracing around objects, as intended. Love the sharpener.
