SITKA GearDelta Wading Jacket

Ordered but sent back. By the material you can tell that it should be waterproof and windproof. This is definitely meant to go with wading bibs and should be layered as it will provide no warmth. The bottom of the jacket hardly reaches below the belt line. Ordered the jacket with the duck oven jacket, they seemed that they would work well together. The delta has zippers under the arms for ventilation which seems pointless as it is a layering jacket. Seems to be good quality but I feel that I was paying more for the name, ending up going with a Drake.

The overall fit of the jacket is great, e.g., the length of the coat and girth around the waist and chest. However, the arms are simply too tight to really layer much of anything. This is a problem because the coat itself does not have a significant amount of insulation, it's more a of a shell with some light insulation. So it makes it difficult to layer much of anything underneath this coat other than a puffy vest. This is the only draw back i've found.

Super impressed with this jacket, cut just right and has all the pockets in the right places. Recently hunted an all day rain storm in Ohio. Stated bone dry, pit zips are great for dumping heat. Jacket packs very well. Very durable exterior, wind block is 100% and waterproof is 100% layer with a base layer and mid layer. There is no insulation. In this jacket.

After two seasons of hunting with this jacket I continue to be more and more impressed. It is worth every penny.Fell like a dork in two feet of water last weekend and did not get wet at all. The weatherized Velcro cuffs kept every bit of water out even though they were fully submerged. What could of been an end of the day event turned into a great day with a full limit.This is a must have piece of duck hunting equipment.

Very wind proof and I always stay dry I love the call straps on this I’m never surprised anytime I get something from Sitka it always works well just remember these fit a little on the smaller side so you can tuck it easier in the waders so make sure you get correct size

This rain jacket is a tank! One of best outdoor gear purchases I have made. I have used it in deer & turkey seasons and Lake Erie bass fishing. I also use for everyday use when weather is extra nasty. The pit zips are nice for ventilation and the whole set up is well thought out. Well worth the $, this is a last a lifetime purchase.

Love the jacket. It’s a little shorter than what I imagined but it’s a wading jacket that I’ll be wearing with my bibs.Great shipping speed. Actually got it a day earlier than what was expected.I love how I have room in the arms and the jacket doesn’t ride up when I move my arms to the shooting position!

Not very thick but very comfortable. Made to wear with layers.
