Ich nutze es, um über Licht die Position von beweglichen Teilen zu bestimmen.Da das ganze in einem Bereich mit sehr hoher elektromagnetischer Feldstärke passiert,bietet sich Licht an.Der Aufbau im Entwicklungsumfeld:Ich nutze als Sender einen kleinen Rotlichtlaser, ähnlich einem Laserpointer ohne Gehäuse.Als Empfänger tut ein Fototransistor seinen Dienst, die Länge der Lichtleiter sind zur Zeit 2 x 50 cm mit 6 mm Luftstrecke.Sender -------------------------- ----------------------------- Empfänger.Sollten Bogen nötig sein, sind große Radien zu bevorzugen.Die vermutete recht hohe Dämpfung dieser sehr preiswerten Lichtleiter hat sich bestätigt.

Good quality
This is my second attempt buying end glow fiber optic cable. I am trying to make a curtain and I thought the light source was the problem with the other cable I purchased. I bought stronger led lights and this cable because I wanted to test a larger diameter and a different brand. I learned that there is definitely a difference in the quality of the cable that affects the results.I took of picture of what it looks like when I tested it with a led flashlight at one end. The light travels all the way to the end, is very bright, and my room is not even completely dark. So happy about this and the way it will help my project turn out better.
