I was a bit skeptical based off the reviews but why do people expect this to last longer when it’s a rechargeable unit?! First off let me clarify. I’m using it in a closet that gets opened about 3-5 times a day. The light stays on as long as there is movement. Other reviewers are putting the lights in hallways that have foot traffic like 20-30 times a day! So the battery will probably only last a couple days max. I’ve had mine now for a couple months now I believe and I haven’t charged it once! Please watch my video and see how much coverage it puts out and brightness. I purchased the 6000k Clean White-17 Inches. I was going to buy two units for the closet but that would be over doing it. As one bar is more than enough. I also didn’t have to screw in as the double sided tape was enough to keep it up. Overall an amazing product that is not only bright but the price is fantastic and it’s rechargeable. 5 stars

What a difference great lights do for the area in our home called the butler station. They are tucked under the cabinet and our of sight, but they are not ugly if seen. These are motion activated which makes the area light up without having to find a switch to turn on. Absolutely love these lights

I’ve already ordered about a dozen of these in the past. This is all I use for my closets. They are bright and show off my custom closet organizers. I highly recommend them.

Revision 11-11-25 My third review of this item; my first two cited its longevity as it regards the claim that it last months on one charge. It lasts far less than that, but ain’t bad. A second light is necessary if you need reliable light, as you’ll have one charged when the other croaks. I’ve had two lights for four months now and can’t give it one more star, because I find the lights easy to use and I get sufficient, reliable lighting over the kitchen sink. Revision 8/6/2025: My review below was written a couple weeks ago, but is now modified because of the wonderful and quick response from Kathy in customer service. She gracefully sent me another light, with no need to send back my first light, and that is much appreciated and useful—I’m able to charge one light while the other is in use. And though I wish I could alter my previous review with a five-star rating, alas, I cannot. The second light needed charging after four days of use. I’ve upped my rating to three stars because of the great service by Kathy, and because I figured out how to make the light more secure when in place (the light has magnets on the underside, which are meant to align with metal strips supplied by the manufacturer—the first time around, I didn’t know the magnets were not continuous, but rather, at only the ends and the middle). If frequent recharging is not a deal breaker for you, you’ll find these lights to be very useful and might give it five stars. They are rather inexpensive, bright and responsive to movement. They are a great alternative to hard wiring, and delivery time was very quick. However, do not expect to go four months between charging, unless you don’t go near it more than a couple times per day. This light is bright and responsive to motion. Nice. But it needs more charging than every three months, as stated in the description. In fact, I’ve been charging every three DAYS, not months. Our light is over the kitchen sink, which gets nearby traffic maybe a dozen times a day. Even if it’s a couple of dozen times a day, it shouldn’t need charging so often. It takes 5 to 6 hours to charge fully, but it will work for a little while if partially charged. Also, the magnetism is not sufficient to keep it from falling if you try to switch it on or off with one hand, and the switch itself is funky—very small and hard to see when it’s tucked under a cabinet. I take it down to set the switch, and then put it back in place, which is a challenge.

BLS lighting has great products. This BLS 84 LED Closet Light is the second LED lights I have purchased. I just installed in a linen closet, and they make a huge improvement in lighting up the shelves. Based on my previous experience, they are reliable, hold a charge well, and the lumens and brightness made a huge difference on some garage steps. The motion detection/sensor is excellent and triggers at just the right distances. I am already planning to purchase another set for a couple other areas.

We have a walk in closet without lights. Too lazy to install permanent lights. Installed two of these and they function perfectly. The magnetic plates were also easy to install and the lights stay in place. Would recommend.

Excellent product. Have under the kitchen sink. Has made a big difference in ability to find items in back.

Nice light, however if you are placing in a closet and the ceiling is rather high, this light will not immediately go on. Also, I sent an email to this company as advised on their website for issues related to this item and I have not received any response at all.

I got this to install in a storage closet that is wood paneled. The light is bright and last long with each charge, especially when I do not use the closet very often. The product comes with mounting stickers for dry walls and screws for wood. I hope to avoid drilling holes and tried their stickers. Indeed they did not hold the light long before it fell. 3M strips for hanging pictures work well. I am satisfied with the product.

I use them in an upstairs hall and in out bathroom. They come on only when we pass near them at nite. Nice and bright. Only charge them 1x a week.

Installed these under the cabinets in my condo. Love that they are motion activated and bright enough to aluminate the counter space. I even installed them in my parents brand new pantry so when they open the sores the light turns on. I used 3M stickers instead so it won’t ruin the wood. I wish the battery lasted a little longer but I work from home so they are constantly going off and on. They roughly last me a couple weeks and then I just charge them up agains. I like that they also have night and day modes…Great quality and product.

I absolutely love this product!!!! I have a barn door, opening to my washer and dryer, and even if I have an LED light in the hallway, I still needed a little more light to see better when doing my wash. This is it!!!! It does the job and just lights up when needed and closes itself when I close the doors. I truly recommend this one highly.

Purchased 4 BLS 84 LED 17” for under cabinet lighting. Charged very quickly the first time. Subsequent charges have take 5-6 hours and have been too frequent, every 6-7 days. Use is continually interrupted as almost every day or so, one or two need recharging The only setting used has been the dark room motion. They are aesthetically lovely and mount beautifully and I love them but for the charging frequency and length of charging time issues Past return date by 8 days now so cannot return. Would not purchase again.
