I like this
This is a good size to tuck into a child's backpack -- god for a kid who needs a little more structure to get his ideas and memories written down. Fun jokes, games, and trivia on the pages. It's nice to do this together at the end of a day on the road. Plenty of room for a 4-week trip.

Games & fun
This book gives you PLENTY of pages to record daily records of your vacation. Because I have two kids and our trip was 10 days, the kids each got a page to fill out. Every day also has a car game suggestion. There is some pre-trip planning for the kids as well.

ITS OK
I was not very impressed with this book. It is a smaller size paperback, so was easy to take traveling. The travel games ideas were very cute, and had games for rainy days, driving, hotels etc... Each travel day page has an area to record what you did, what you ate, what you bought and a place to draw a picture, my biggest drawback is there is not alot of free writing space. I was hoping for a place to write likes, dislikes, activities, etc..but there is no room for this. I also wish it had more space, as each day was only big enough for one activity, so if you go several places it makes it very difficult.

This will be really helpful on an upcoming trip with a 9 year old. It did not suit an older (11) child and bought a different one for her.

Good Publication
The nine and seven -year-old children enjoyed filling the diary out each day. It made for a wonderful educational experience.

Worth more than five stars!
We are taking a huge trip & this is such a great idea to keep my daughter engaged in working on her writing. I also love that I will be able to save it & show it to her one day. plus it is so cute!

My children have used this book twice on our trip to Florida. They found it interesting to read what they had previously written. Certainly gives the kids something to do while traveling.

Perfect travel companion
I bought 2 of these for my 10 and 8 year olds as we were going on a 4 week adventure holiday. My kids love the idea of keeping a diary, but usually after a couple of days (when they have lots of blank pages to fill) the novelty wears off. However, these little diaries are great for recording the highlights of each day and for them to draw a picture of something from that day. There is also an activity/game to play on every page and a few pages of activities at the back of the book. It is small (A5) and lightweight and a great travel companion. If you want a diary for a page a day of creative writing, this isn't it; but for something they will enjoy keeping and looking back on, I can't recommend it highly enough.

Great for kids to put down memories of their holidays
We got these for our two children 7 yr and 9 yr for a big trip away to USA and New Zealand and they are great. Each day you can add what, who, and where you have been helping them with tips and places for photos etc they can add. Both of our kids were really pleased and great memories kept all together to look back on.Highly recommend them

didnt inspire kids to write
The format was too rigid, didnt leave room for any creative writing. Would have been better to have more space per day as we only went on a one week holiday and the diary is for a month. I did tell the kids they could use more than one page per day but the diary didnt really lend itself to this.
