This unit is great, it delivers the right amount of heat and massage
This unit is great, it delivers the right amount of heat and the combo massage and kneading works great. I compared a lot of different units before buying this one and I made the right choice. Its worth the price. UPDATE - I have used to unit a lot over the last few days as I need to get better circulation in my feet. Once you start using this machine, you won't want to shut it off, it works that well. There are some complaints on the reviews about it hurting your feet. There are 5 different settings, so if you start off at the lowest one, which is what the manufacturer suggests, you can increase the settings as you wish. This can be done with the unit running and your feet inside. I am a size 10 shoe, and my feet fit fine inside with room to spare. You have the option of having the heat on or off. The heat does not burn you, it is just enough to keep your feet warm. There is no setting to raise or lower the heat, just on or off. There is a timer on it so it runs for a maximum of 15 minutes, then it will auto shut off. It does a total massage of the entire feet, top, side and bottom. The unit is totally quiet, the only nose it makes is a very slight sounds when the air pressure is released, and you can just barely hear that. It is also light weight so it is easy to move around if you need to. I have not found any negatives or flaws in the unit at all, to me it is well worth the price.

Awesome Reflexology Massage!
I've purchased about 6 different foot massagers including the uber expensive Brookstone's, and this is the first one that works like what I've been looking for. I was searching for a foot massager that gives a deep kneading massage that mimics a Reflexologist's hand motion, and this is it! Since there are a lot of comments on here about how this device works, I'm not going to spend a lot of time on that. I bought it three weeks ago and wanted to give it a good workout before reviewing it. I use it 1-2 times a day for 30min each time and it hasn't stopped on me yet (several others did), so I have no problem giving it a favorable review. Let me say first, if you have never had a reflexology foot treatment done, then you will probably find this massager to be a bit painful. Here are a few tips I found that work well because this is not your typical electric foot massager. For my first use I padded my feet with a thick pair of socks just in case it was as painful as I had read in other reviewers comments. That worked well, but I found I really didn't need them. The thing I found that work well before using it is: moisturizing my feet right before use, and wearing a thin pair of clean socks. I seat my feet deep into the massager and sit upright in my comfy chair ( I'll explain why later) the machine's air pressure basically presses the feet downward while squeezing them, which causes the roller nubs on the bottom to push in really deep from the tips of your toes to the heels of your feet just like a reflexologist! The pressure is strong and sitting upright in your seat helps you keep your feet in the device because it does a bit of a push and pull motion when it switches the rolling direction on the bottom. Your foot is loose enough within the device for you to lift and tilt your foot while its working. That being said, to get an even deeper massage, I alternately press and tilt my feet downward for about a minute each way to target the corresponding body organ zones (see a Foot Reflexology Chart image) and often, I feel the organ twinge in the upper body like a real reflex massage! It's awesome! I highly recommend this massager.

Shiatsu Foot Massager Relaxes Feet & Body by Activating Accupressure Points on Your Feet. (Yes!! Like Reflexology!)
This is one great device. I ordered this based on its reviews and also knowing that there are some drawbacks (including price). I got it very quickly (YAY!) and I used it immediately for several hours. It's very effective in terms of vibration, heat and shiatsu /pressure point massage. It's almost too good. The compression with air makes the fit of the feet into the 2 spots very tight on the top of the foot. (breathe, breathe breathe). It doesn't last long but if move your foot the wrong way, it's going to be *tight*. ( that's why they lost a star) That said, the machine does adjust the compression pretty quickly. It found all the knots and tight spots on my feet (that also link up to tight spots and knots on my body) and worked them really well. I had tight shoulders and it loosened up really quickly. My feet get sore from some of the same massaging/kneading points over and over again...... but that's in a very small section of one foot. I figure over time it will get better. I found that if I moved a foot horizontally in a different direction, it made a difference in the compression tightness and also the soreness of the pressure points. Used it today and found that my feet are not as sore as they have been for the last couple of days. (Bonus!) It's a solid, rather heavy machine. It's not flimsy plastic! It needs to sit in one place and not be moved around a lot. You can move it from room to room, just don't try to keep moving it while it's working. The cloth liner for the feet is washable too. I love this. It is a bit pricy but I think it's worth it. The 5th star is due to the lack of adjustments available for the compression.

I have nothing but great things to say about this foot massager
BUYER BEWARE! I have nothing but great things to say about this foot massager. A friend has one and I found it to give a very relaxing massage. I do not, however, recommend purchasing one from STL, PRO. Their return policy does not allow you to exchange some items even if they are defective and unfortunately I received a dud. I completely understand not allowing returns on "personal care items" when a customer simply changes their mind, but I do feel they should stand behind defective items. I suggest buying from a company that stands behind its products.

This Massager is a Plantars Fasciitis ender!!! Try it... You won't regret it!!!
About a year and a half ago my feet started hurting, I let it go and dealt with the pain for almost a year. I went to the doctor and found out that I have planters fasciitis and because I let it go for so long... I've began developing a heal spur. My doctor gave me a VERY PAINFUL shot in my left foot. It was HORRIBLE!!! The pain slowed for a month or so but then started back again. I've worn night splints, I tried Straussberg Socks... I have literally tried every product. I went to a new doctor who put me on an exercise regimen and recommended that I purchased this uComfy Shiatsu Foot Massager. I bought it from Amazon about 3 days ago and I've used it about a dozen times... and all I can say is... OH MY GOD!!! It is absolute bliss!!! I didn't think it would be this amazing!!! Tonight my wife used it for the first time... She had 15 minutes of pure bliss!!! Both of my teenager daughters have used it, actually my oldest is using it right now, and they both think this massager is amazing. So here is the breakdown. My wife gave it 5 stars and the only thing she thought was that it could only be better if it got more of the heal. But when the air compresses around the foot and the heat and the kneading kicks in she would give it 1,000 stars! My oldest gave it 5 stars and she also thought that it could get more of the heal. Like a little cup that massages the heal. My middle daughter gave it 4.5 stars. It felt really good once she figured out how to adjust her feet. My two and a half year old decided to use it and she's been giggling and absolutely loves it. She doesn't understand the 5 star system but she said she loves it!!! She was scared at first and didn't want to go near it... But then after my wife and both daughters giggle and smile and laugh... my youngest daughter put her feet in it and absolutely loved it!!! As for me... I give it 5 stars. I started out on the default setting (3) and then moved it down to setting (1) and now I use it on setting (2). This is the first time in a year and a half that my feet have felt blissful. I went down to Good Feet and got custom fit insoles about three days before I got this Shiatsu Foot Massager. The insoles felt good and were a major improvement, but now that I'm using the Good Feet 3 Step program in conjunction with the massager about 4-5 times a day, I actually walked for the first time today without pain. And I've only had the massager for (3) days! So as far as planters fasciitis goes, I recommend that you take preventative measures as soon as you notice the pain. You can usually tell that you have planters fasciitis if you have a sharp shooting pain when you first stand on your feet after waking up in the morning. There are exercises that you can find on Google and YouTube that are very helpful and I sincerely believe that had I bought this massager a year and a half ago, I believe that I would have knocked my planters fasciitis out in the first week and saved my self 17.5 months of pain. If your feet hurt or are fatigued... Try this massager... You won't be sorry!

Good, but needs improvements.
I wanna love this massager, I really do. Instead, I really like it. Here's why I gave removed 2 stars. 1 - I have size 14 feet. Do they fit in the massager? Kinda. It works but it's uncomfortably tight around my toes. I know, most people don't have feet as large as mine. I don't care. An extra inch would have made all the difference in the world. They didn't make it 1" larger, I took away 1 star. 2 - This is the bigger issue. Part of the massage is, well, kind of lame. You barely feel the heat, and the rollers under your feet are fairly useless. Until the second part of the massage kicks in. When the inflatable portion is turned on, adding pressure to the top of your feet while the rollers knead under your feet. That part of the massage is amazing! So why not just turn it on with full pressure from the start? Because you can't. The massager has a single 15-minute cycle it goes through. You can adjust the intensity from 1-5, but you can't adjust which part of the massage it is. I'd rather have 5-minutes of full pressure and kneading and I'd be done. Sure, you can stop it any time and be done with it, but you have to sit through much of the "lame" massage part to get to the "great" massage part. The massager needs a way to let the user choose what they want, and because it doesn't have that, I've stripped another star from it. So close to 5 stars, but not good enough.

Awesome product
ok, people. ill be honest with you. so i did a lot of research on foot massagers and read a lot of reviews about different ones. it was pretty hard decision, because most of them have pretty much same reviews. the reason i got this one is because out of 96 reviews, only 9 is bad and 60 is 5 stars!! when other massagers has almost equal amount of bad and good reviews! so, i got mine today and of course first thing i did is stick my feet in there and tried it! got to say, feels amazing! i see ppl complain about it to be painful or rough, i could see that, if you have very sensitive or huge feet. my size is 10.5 and i kinda have sensitive feet, but to me it is not rough at all. when it first started i was like oh wow, that's kinda rough, but couple minutes later i didnt think so, it seems like the machine knows the size of your feet and applies pressure according to that. one thing i can say, is , it would be nice if there were more rolling and focusing on heals. it does massage ur heals, but most of the action is around the top of the foot and toes. anyway . i will definitely recommend it to everybody i know, cuz u cant beat the price u know. oh and by the way, i am a massage therapist and got to say, this machine works a lot better than most of the MT's )) and if u think its too rough or too small or too big or too hot or too cold, just go get a reflexology massage from a real person!!!! once again for the machine, its a really good performance! feels like a real person massaging my feet. Get it and you will not be disappointed.

uComfy Shiatsu Foot Massager with Heat is FABULOUS!
OMG! This machine is totally AMAZING! I received the 'machine' last night. I read the instructions and immediately put my feet on a 'test run' massage. I loved the first two levels of massage and ultimately went to level 3. For me, level 3 is strong, but I quickly got used to it and enjoyed every minute of it! It is soooo relaxing for me and I tend to zone out while it's kneading and rolling the bottoms of my feet and toes. There is a very definite squeezing pressure that is applied to the feet, which at first kinda took me aback... was it gonna swallow up my feet? :>)) But after a few times of the squeezing pressure, I couldn't get enough of it! I'm not sure I could withstand the strength of level 4 or 5, but may try a minute or so of the those 'levels' later on. Best purchase that I've made in a long time! San Francisco UPS delivery on the other hand is despicable. I reported my delivery experience to Amazon Customer Service just in case there is a malfunction with the machine within the next few weeks. I have a 6 foot privacy fenced small front yard that faces the public street. UPS driver walked up 6 steps of the exterior front staircase of my building and shoved/dropped the large 14 pound box down 7 1/2 feet onto my concrete sidewalk. I heard the bang/thud when it hit the sidewalk at 8:30 pm. By the time I got out my front gate, the driver was gone. Sorry, but posting this pic is for Amazon Customer Service, btw who are great!
