Geosystems: An Introduction to Physical Geography (9th Edition)

The book in terms of cleanliness was 4/5. The prior owner highlighted a few of the front few pages and wrote in pen, the kind of highlights that had no relevance or were really bad pen lines. Overall, I'm glad it was only a few pages.The book in course knowledge is absolutely great, I really do love the quality of the illustrations in detail and the words aren't so dense that you have to look up everything, topics/focuses are thoroughly separated and explained. Key concepts are highlighted and specific geography terms are put in it for you.I've had this book for about a year now and I travel with it only when I NEED to for heavy studying, yet it's one of the lightest texts I've ever had so you should be okay with traveling but not all the time. And the corners are beginning to fray a bit the papers are quite easy to possibly leave a hand there too long making the paper get a bit moist and crinkle the pages for example.If you need this for a course this source is good for this text, as an Environmental Studies major though it's helped me a lot with the foundations of Physical Geography which I'll be needing later in my major and career.

The book does its job, arrived fast, and is for the most part in good condition except for the back is peeling away pretty bad so I want to ensure I am not blamed for that prior damage. Attached photo as well but great rental for a good price!

When compared with my library's copy of this book,the seller actually sold the textbook with wrong page orientation,2 page world map is supposed to show as a whole, instead the book i received has a world map split into two, I would need to turn the pages.Some other distinct 2 page diagrams are affected as well.I suppose the printing factory realized they printed it wrongly and decided to sell it online.

I used this book for my Physical Geology (GS101) class and it has just the right amount of visuals (photos, graphs, diagrams, etc.) for the content of the text. If your professor has a difficult time getting the information inside your head, this book will help you immensely.
