The floor mat heel protector pad is a great carpet saver. Two concerns caused me to rate the pad 4 vs 5 stars:-Color black was not offered.- The size was disappointing; the pad protects the mat, however your heel must be placed exactly to fit within the protection area. Unfortunately I ordered a second pad to allow a larger protection area.

I used these to fix mats that had holes in them. They stuck on well and covered the holes. I did this in the cold winter months. I first washed and dried the Nats then attached the patches. I put something heavy on them for about 24 hours to make sure they stuck. So far so good.

Love this! I found this item when looking to replace my rubber Honda mats which I use because I was trying to preserve my carpet. As you can see my rubber mats are curling at the edges after only one year. Rather than spending another $300 for a set, I had the good fortune of finding MatMate. For $10 I can finally appreciate my carpet mats without worrying about destroying them. I’m ordering this as a stocking stuffer for everyone in my family. It was easy to install and you can’t feel it at all when driving. What a clever product!
