JD.MoonAbr-1 Style Tune-o-matic Bridge Tailpiece Gold for Gibson Les Paul Gear Replacement (black)

Ordered this a while ago and just got round to trying it on my Gibson Les Paul Standard (1990). Bridge adjusting screws fit fine, but the tail studs are a different pitch to the originals so short of retapping the sleeves they don't fit. There is no fine adjustment for intonation, just a pinch bolt to allegedly secure the saddles after you manual slide them back and forward to set. The real showstopper though was that both the bridge and tailpiece are narrower than standard so neither fit across the existing stud sleeves. Quality seemed ok for what I paid, but this will now gather dust until I find a use for it. If you are working on a quality instrument cost cutting rarely works:(

Of the two posts which come with the tailpiece, one was sized wrong and needed some machining to get it to fit. Not a problem if you have a well equipped workshop. Also the post holes in the bridge were slightly under size. Apart from that it looks great on the guitar and the bridge adjustment etc. is fine.
